1 Co-formulants in authorised plant protection products Status on September 2013 All co-formulants (non-active ingredients) which are contained in the formulation of a plant protection product have to be characterised according to the stipulations of Regulation (EU) No 545/2011 by the applicant or the manufacturer when an application is made for authorisation. The trade name and composition must be stated. As a rule, all components (= co-formulant substances) which are contained to more than 0.1 % in the co-formulant must be stated. The chemical name (according to IUPAC or CAS), the structure and the CAS and EU numbers (EINECS, ELINCS) must be stated for each co-formulant substance. If a co-formulant is contained in an authorised plant protection product, and thus known to the BVL, information on the composition is usually no longer needed. It is sufficient if a current safety data sheet is submitted with the application for authorisation. The following list contains all of the approximately 1450 co-formulants in alphabetical order which were contained in authorised plant protection products on 1 September Kaolin Clay 2ethyl-1-hexanol (Octylalkohol) 2-sek-Butylphenol A Abalyn Acetanhydrid Aceton Acetophenon Acronal 290 D Acronal A 380 Acticide B20 Acticide L 30 Acticide MBS Acticide MV Acti-Gel 208 Adeka PG(T) Adekatol SO-135 ADEX CA 300/V Adigor Adinol CT 95 Adinol OT 64 Adipinsäure ADK Cizer O-180A Aduxol TRD-08 Aerosil 200 Aerosil 200 V Aerosil 300 Aerosil MOX 80 Aerosil R 972 Aerosol OT-A Aerosol OT-B AG 6202 Agent Agitan 217 Agitan 702 Agnique ABS 60 C
