3 Purpose The purpose of the Milestone Online Order System, is to enable an easy to use webshop for our partners, where the Milestone products can be purchased. The order system also gives the user the possibility of: Buying new products Upgrading an existing license to a higher product class (e.g. upgrading an XProtect Professional license to a XProtect Protect Enterprise License) Renewing the Product Maintenance Agreement (e.g. when the existing PMA expires) Saving orders as quotes It is only possible to place one order per reseller at a time. Thus, it is not possible to place multiple orders for multiple resellers at once. 4 Navigating in Shop Login 1) Go to the Partner Section at the Milestone website ( 2) Login to the Partner Web: We recommend that you bookmark this site ( Page 4
5 If you have forgotten your password, please contact Milestone Inside Sales at: or call the Milestone Helpdesk (see contact details on page 3) 3) Log in to the WebShop: 4) Log in to the Milestone Online Order System with your username and password: If you have forgotten your password, press the Forgot password button in order to generate an to the Milestone Helpdesk. We will then resend your password as soon as possible. Please note that your username and password are the same as when logging in to the Partner Web at the Milestone website. Page 5
6 5) Select the reseller that you will be placing the order for: If the reseller is not in the list, please contact the Milestone Online Order System help. 7 Purchasing new product 1) Choose New in the main menu: 2) Select Category: Enterprise is chosen in this example. 3) Select Product: Page 7
8 4) Customize product (Select amount of extra add-ons or extra product amount*): *If applicable 5) You may choose to purchase a PMA Product Maintenance Agreement: You can choose to purchase PMA for 1, 2 or 3 years. For further details on how to customize the PMA, go page 12 for the section on Customize PMA. Page 8
9 6) Finish a. The purchase is now listed in the Cart. You can either proceed to payment or continue adding products to your order. For further details on the payment procedure, please see the Payment section on page Page 9
10 Add to existing license (purchase add-ons to SLC) This function gives you the opportunity for example to purchase extra camera licenses to an already existing XProtect Enterprise license. 1) Choose Add To Existing license in the main menu: 2) Type in SLC on the product where you want to add new add-ons 3) After validation of the SLC, you may add the wanted amount of add-ons 4) PMA is calculated from expire date and the minimum required number of days which be purchased on the new add-ons 5) Finish Page 10
11 Upgrade license (purchasing TradeIn) This function gives you the opportunity to trade in an existing license for a higher level product, for example when upgrading an XProtect Professional license to a XProtect Protect Enterprise License. 1) Choose Upgrade License in the main menu: 2) Type in SLC on product you want to upgrade: 3) After validation of the SLC, select the new product you want to upgrade to 4) Customize new product 5) Customize PMA, (PMA days from now until expire date will be calculated as discount) and discount from main product as well 6) Finish Page 11
12 PMA renewal (purchasing PMA upgrade to SLC) This function gives you the opportunity of prolonging an expired PMA, by purchasing an upgrade to an existing SLC. 1) Choose PMA renewal in the main menu: 2) Type in SLC on the product where you want to upgrade PMA 3) If SLC is valid, customize PMA period 4) Finish Customize PMA To customize PMA, you can select between: 1) 1, 2 or 3 year PMA Page 12
13 2) PMA by date (required PMA purchase is at least 180 days): 3) PMA by days (required PMA purchase is at least 180 days): Page 13
14 Quote (saving a cart) A cart containing an order can be saved as a quote. Prices will be locked, and the quote is accessible for 30 days. This gives you the opportunity to park an order temporarily and then return to the same order later. The quote will be saved under the reseller, where the order originally was placed. In order to save a quote: 1) Place an order, by adding for example a new product to the cart 2) Continue to Payment, by clicking on the payment button in cart: 3) Choose Save as Quote under Payment Options : Page 14
15 Quotes can also be accessed from the Main Menu: 1: 2: From the quote section you can also access previously created quotes. Page 15
16 Payment 1) Choose Payment in the cart: 2) Fill out end-user information (not required for purchasing XProtect Basis+) and order information: Page 16
17 3) Finalize order by accepting terms and conditions and confirming the order by account or credit card payment. Page 17
18 Search Search for products, product-codes or product descriptions in the shop. The search can have a list of recognizable words, to help misspellings. 1: 2: Page 18
