2 Online User Guide Logging in for the first time This guide is designed to help explain how to login in to our updated Online Client Portal. If you are unable to login to your account please contact your investment manager for assistance. Step 1 Please click on the Client Login link of the new Bespoke Investment Management website ( or the Login link on Close Brothers Asset Management Site. Both of these links are shown in the same place in the upper right hand corner of the site. Step 2 You will now be taken to a login page and asked for your security details. These are the same as your current ones. If you are unable to remember your username or password please contact your investment manager for assistance. Step 3 Since this is the first time you are logging into our new system you will be asked to create a new password for your account. Unfortunately, this can not be the same as your existing one. Please note: Your new password must be at least 8 characters long and must contain a mixture of uppercase, lowercase and at least one number.

3 Step 4 As part of our increased security on the new Online Client Portal we will now ask you to confirm letters from a memorable word. Since this is your first login you need to set this up now. Simply enter your word and confirm it in the boxes provided and then enter a short phrase in the prompt box below. This can be displayed during the login process to jog your memory in case you have forgotten your memorable word. Step 5 The final part of the process is to set up three security questions. These are used to verify you in case you want to change your password or if you forget your username or password. Please click the login button and you will be taken to your account summary page.

4 Online User Guide Logging in Once you have logged in for the first time and created your security questions there will subsequently be a much shorter login process. Step 1 Enter your username and the password you set when you initially used the Online Client Portal and then click Login. If you are unable to remember either of these please click the relevant link shown above the Login button. Step 2 Enter the character requested from your memorable word using the drop down lists. If you are unable to remember this word then click Hint on the right hand side for a reminder.

5 Online User Guide Using the system Navigating the site The site is navigated using the left hand menu. Account: View your portfolios My details: Edit or update your security details My documents: View your quarterly statements, tax packs and contract notes online. Account Summary Once you have logged in you will be shown a summary of your accounts with Close Brothers Asset Management. If you would like to view an individual portfolio then you can click on the name of the portfolio. In the example shown to the right Mr & Mrs A Sample. If you have more than one portfolio in your online account then you will see a line for each of these. You can also click on Total to see a summary of all of your assets in a single view. My Documents The Online Client Portal now stores all of your quarterly packs, tax packs and contract notes. You should find all your packs from the last three years in easy to use PDF documents. You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these. You can filter the documents by account, category, type and date. Click Go to apply the filter. Logging out Once you have finished viewing your account please remember to click Logout shown in the top right hand corner of the website. This is especially important if you are using a shared computer. Please note, that for your security, the system will automatically log you out after a period of inactivity.
