1 Electromagnetic pump designation GOTEC E T S 21 - E : In beginning of the designation for all pumps based on the Electromagnetic principle. 1

2 T : means the complete square motor (coil + metallic frame + sleeve) with the laminated magnetic sheets, the types available areg15, G17, G20, G21. The connectors are fixed with four screws M4x8. The electrical connection is with two terminals type AMP 6,35 x 0,8, grounding may be required on the frame. K : means the round coil (R17 & R21) with an outside metallic frame. Connectors are fixed with four M4x6 screws. The electric connection is made by two wires. Grounding may be required on the frame. M : means the small coils G08 with integrated metallic frame. The electrical connection can be with three tab terminals style DIN, or with wires 130 [mm] long. The style EHN is not more available Cable DIN EHN 2

3 S : means the very Small coil G03 with integrated metallic frame. The electrical connection is made by three terminals DIN/ISO style. B : Means «Big» for coil type B18 with internal metallic frame. DIN/ISO style plug D : like Diagphram pump with a coil G08, Electrical connection DIN/ISO or with wire 3

4 L : means pump with the L21 coil with metallic frame integrated. The connection is DIN/ISO 4

5 S : POM plastic connector for soft tubing, diameters 7,5 et 9,5. Only the 7,5 is available for the pressure pumps type 50, 75, 100 & 150. S : 45 POM plastic connector for soft tubing, diamet ers 10.1 Only for type 17 in 2V. Example of designation: ETS 17-P/B-230/50-45 K : POM plastic connector with female thread M10x1. 5

8 E : Connector in brass with external thread 1/8"NPT. Only available for the type 08 (EME 08 ). X : Connector in stainless steel AISI 303 for soft tubing in diameters 6,5 et 9,5. For the pressure pump, only the diameter 9.5 is available. T : Connector in brass for soft tubing 6,5 et 9,5. Only the diameter 6,5 is available for the pressure type pumps. POM plastic connector Ø6,2 for pressure pumps with by-pass for self-priming under pressure 8

9 V : Brass connector with external thread M24x1,5. Only for type EB 18. NPT : Brass connector with internal thread 3/8 NPT. Only for type EB 18. W : Embout en «Hostaform C» noir pour connexion rapide avec raccords Legris ou CPC d=6mm. If the suction and pressure connectors are different, there will be two letter in the designation. The first will correspond to the suction connector type and second to the pressure type. Example: ETR/S 21-P/C-230/50. 9

10 03 : Type 03 with a maximum pressure of 0,3 bar (coil G03 for the pump ES and G08 for the pump ED). Only types ES and DM. 04 : Type 04 with maximum pressure of 0,4 bar (coil G03). Only type ES. 08 : Type 08 with maximum pressure of 0,8 bar (coil G08). Only types EMX et EME. 10 : Type 10 with maximum pressure of 1 bar (coil G08). Only types EMS et ELS. 15 : Type 15 with maximum pressure of 1,5 bars (coil G15). Only type ET. 17 : Type 17 with maximum pressure of 1,7 bars (coils G17 or R17). Only types ET et EK. 18 : Type 18 with maximum pressure of 1,8 bars. Only type EB. 20 : Type 20 with maximum pressure of 2,0 bars (coil G20). Only type ET but often only for ZöV. 21 : Type 21 with maximum pressure of 2,1 bars (coil G21 ou R21). Only types ET et EK. 50 : Type 50 with maximum pressure of 5 bars (coil G17 ou R17). Only types ET, EK et ELS. 75 : Type 75 with maximum pressure of 7,5 bars (coil G17 ou R17). Only types ET et EK. 100 : Type 100 with maximum pressure of 10 bars (coil G17 ou R17). Only types ET et EK. 150 : Type 150 with maximum pressure of 15 bars (coil G17 ou R17). Only types ET et EK. The indicated pressures are only nominal pressures. Please refer to the technical data sheet for more details. 10

11 P : Valves & O-Ring in NBR (Perbunan) resistant to fuel, oil and water, some acids and bases diluted at ambient temperature Good resistance to wearing. Color code Gotec: yellow V : Valves & O-Ring in FPM (Viton). Good chemical and temperature resistance..low resistance to wearing Color code Gotec: red. E : Valves & O-Ring in EPDM. Resistant to hot water, steam, glycol, some detergent and solvants. Do not resist against mineral oils. Good resistance to wearing. Color code Gotec: blue. S : Valves & O-Ring in MVQ (Silicone). Middle resistance to wearing. Color code Gotec: green. H : Valves in HNBR. Good chemical resistance. High mechanical & wearing resistance. The HNBR valves are mounted with NBR O-rings Example: ETX 21-HV/C-230/50 Very long lifetime. Color code Gotec as O-ring material. 11

12 T : Valves in Teflon (PTFE). Universal chemical resistance. Excellent temperature resistance. The PTFE valves are mounted generally with Viton or EPDM O-Rings Exemple: ETX 21-TE/C-230/50 Low resistance to wearing = low lifetime. Color code Gotec: White or according to the O-Rings material. C : O-Ring in CR (Neoprene. The valves are not available in this material, the O-ring will be in. another material. Example: EKB 50-HC/C-230/50 Color code Gotec: black or according to the O-Rings material. K : Valves in Kalrez (FFPM). Excellent chemical & temperature resistance. Very expensive. Color code Gotec: any. F : O-Ring in FEP. Core in Viton and sleeve in FEP. FEP Viton 12

13 O : Piston in stainless steel AISI 431 rolled without coating. This letter appears only in pumps having a piston without any coating and a sleeve in stainless steel. B : Sleeve in Brass (and piston uncoated). BU : Sleeve in Brass and ET motor not paint. PEEK : PEEK sleeve C : Cr (chrome) coated piston. N : Ni (nickel) coated piston. NT : Nickel-Teflon coated piston. ADLC : ADLC.coated piston P : PVDF plastic sleeved piston. R : Piston in Ni48 called Radiometal or Permenorm. A : Piston Assembled (The magnetic core is surrounded by more corrosion resistant steel). 13

14 12 : Rated tension for the electrical supply of coil : 12 volts. 24 : Rated tension for the electrical supply of coil 24 volts. 100 : Rated tension for the electrical supply of coil 100 volts. 110 : Rated tension for the electrical supply of coil 110 volts. 115 : Rated tension for the electrical supply of coil 115 volts. 210 : Rated tension for the electrical supply of coil 210 volts. 230 : Rated tension for the electrical supply of coil 230 volts. 50 : Rated frequency for the electrical supply of the coil : 50 Hz. 60 : Rated frequency for the electrical supply of the coil 60 Hz. Not all the combinations are possible. No function with DC power supply. It is necessary to mount a diode and a fuse. 14

15 R : Reverse coil: The terminals or the wires point on the other direction of standard configuration. 2V : 2 valves. Pumps do not have any supplementary valve in the suction connector. 3V : 3 Valves, for better self-priming performances. Standard for type ET and EK, not possible on certain type. M : Pumps delivered with a Mounting bracket (type ET only). T : Pump delivered with four rubber feet and no mounting bracket. N : Option of a silicon washer to reduce the noice of the pump. G : Grouding available. : a terminal mounted with the pump, type ET & EK only. 15

16 10 : Flow reduction at 10 l/h with a reduction inside the piston. 20 : Flow reduction at 20 l/h with a reduction inside the piston. 35 : Flow reduction at 35 l/h with a reduction inside the piston. 70 : Flow reduction at 70 l/h with a reduction inside the piston.. GDC : EMS 10 with a higher flow, valve tips. GDB : EMS 10 with a higher flow, ball valves. CABLES 130mm DIN EHN : Electrical connection type for coils G08. 17 INOX ou TOUT INOX 2xM5 : : The valve seats are in stainless steel and not in POM. Example : ETU 21-V/C-230/50 INOX ETU 21-V/C-230/50 "TOUT INOX" 2 threads M5 on the metallic frame of the EK pump for the mounting. Example : EKS 17-P/C-230/50 2xM5 L=480 2xUNC : 2 thread UNC 8-32 on the metallic frame of the pump EK for the mounting. Example : EKS 17-P/C-230/50 2xUNC L=480 1x7,5 ou 2x7,5 : For the pumps ETS 17 or EKS 17 with small ETS connectors 7,5 instead of the standard 9,5.
