Constant advanced development and tests of each new adaptation under real working conditions help us to provide our customers with a sophisticated software made for everyday use. All functionalities of the digicom solution package are arranged in a uniform and user-friendly Windows interface and built on a central database. Microsoft SQL Server is applied here which guarantees the necessary performance and stability, from a single-user through multi-user solution, all the way to a branch solution. Additional security is assured by the reliable data back-up, based on the integrated functions of the Microsoft SQL Server. The orientation towards a Windows standard allows for quick and problem-free training in the software. The program is operated by mouse, keyboard, barcode scanner or touch screen, whereby these entry devices may be arbitrarily combined with each other. A further highlight is the implementation of radio controlled barcode scanners in combination with digicom. They have an integrated display to show customer and product data. With these barcode scanners, you can carry out a number of activities over the wireless radio network and this done regardless of the location within your premises with minimal space required. Software The core of our solution is the digicom ski. Depending upon the need, the software supports any activity of ski rental and ski service businesses as a single-user, multi-user or branch system solution. In the case of rental, the software offers extensive functionality to maintain customers, book reservations, distribute and exchange items, as well as return them. To process an item rental, all you need to do is scan a rentticket code at a check-out station. Any data already collected beforehand using a terminal scanner is immediately inserted into a new receipt document. Rental equipment of other members of a family or group can be easily collected into a single receipt document. This way clarity and easy control of all data are guaranteed. Of course, you can always add additional items to the rental, withdraw individual items or simply carry out an exchange. More and more customers are booking rental items in advance for their next holiday. digicom fulfils these requirements precisely. A reservation can be made with very few steps on a single screen mask. You can provide your customers with information on the availability of an article at any time or take a reservation immediately. Telephone inquiries or booking through digicom online booking are therefore easily and reliably processed. In addition, import interfaces to SPORT 2000 rent, SKISET and INTERSPORT Rent online booking systems are available. Data submitted automatically by this systems is processed and used the same way as data from digicom online booking. In doing so, bookings made at various online shops can be easily processed thanks to a uniform workflow. In the service area, the digicom service module helps you receive and manage customer articles, print service labels, reliably monitor deadlines and also in the pick-up process. Sales of sports items and accessories in your shop area can be controlled using our inventory management module, including price marking and inventory control. Our depot module offers comprehensive possibilities for the automatic allocation of depot areas and their management, for the application of keycard solutions and in the connection to all the common depot systems on the market.

3 Page 3 Rental standard The ISO rental standard provides for an inspection of rental equipment in regular intervals. digicom reliably supports you in this task. Thanks to interfaces integrated in the ski to binding inspection devices by Montana Sport International AG and Wintersteiger AG, data collection during the inspection can be automated. Results of pre-season and in-season inspections are registered in the database for the equipment mentioned. Complete documentation is therefore accessible at any time. Any determined correction factors for a binding component will be taken into account during adjustment calculation in accordance with ISO and indicated by the system. Terminal scanner The terminal scanner is our practical approach to easy and space-saving work with our ski rental software at your ski rental. Using this mobile solution, you can carry out many activities of your rental business no matter where you are. Customers are identified using their rent ticket, completed at the Check-In-Counter or an item barcode. This is possible through the implementation of robust barcode scanners with integrated displays. Using these devices, the registration and exchange of rental materials is done directly at the console, without the need to use additional hardware or software. A calculation of binding adjustment values in conformance with standards such as ISO and is integrated into the process. Upon return, a control of open payment amounts is conducted immediately when scanning. The built-in display shows an exact message in this case. If no further payment is required from the customer, the rental transaction is completed directly via the terminal scanner.
