FareGo Data CS will manage the complete range of FareGo field devices such as fare gates, ticket vending machines, validators and ticket vending stations. The Java-based application software sets new standards with regard to user ergonomics and intuitive operability to deliver the maximum support to you in your work. FareGo Data CS is a modular concept and can therefore be extended in a flexible way. This means that future developments in the field of ticketing and cashless payments can be integrated without any problems. With the combination of different modules, you get a system which exactly matches your individual requirements. FareGo Data CS supports an integrated complete system and provides open interfaces between external sources of data and the Scheidt & Bachmann system components. Therefore, any computer in the network can be used as a workstation, provided that Java is installed. A longsome, classic installation on individual workstation computers is not necessary. Scheduler Many instructions that control the data exchange between the field devices and the background system have to be executed reguarly or at a specific time. In addition to these scheduled events FareGo Data CS also allows you to an unplanned data transfer at any time. Barcode tracking The bar code tracking allows you to manage the paper used in your field devices. When tickets with a bar code number are used, the issue of these tickets can be registered and saved in FareGo Data CS. In this way, you can check for example, whether all tickets were processed from a paper roll or if half a paper roll was extracted from a device and inserted into another device. Appropriate reports are available for the evaluation of this data, allowing you to optimise your stock control and reduce cost. The field devices also use the bar code information, identifying through the quantity of remaining code numbers the need to send a lack of paper message to the background system.

5 Expending the system extension modules for FareGo Data CS FareGo Data CS offers a range of extension modules to expand the standard version of FareGo Data CS. Using the modules, you can build a fare management system which is exactly tailored to your needs. Monitor+ A comprehensive overview of the current system status is indispensable for optimum system support. With FareGo Data CS, you get real-time information on the current operating status of your field devices and their components. The extended device monitoring module, Monitor+, additionally maps online alarm messages, version status and counter readings to get a complete mapping of your system s condition. Monitor+ supports quick troubleshooting by immediate identification and diagnosis of faults - faults which can be analysed down to the component levels of individual devices. Transfer+ Since FareGo Data CS is normally integrated into an existing IT environment, data exchange with other software packages is essential. Along with the export of, for example, sales data and incident reports, the import of external data such as tariff information, release lists or blacklists needs to be supported. Tansfer+ offers you a flexible framework for the administration of the import and export processes with adapters for other data source inputs, allowing you to use FareGo Data CS within your overall system as a single source of all your business information, regardless of source. Tariff+ Tariff+ offers you an extended tariff data maintenance tool, which significantly exceeds simple tasks such as the modification of prices or the correction of business rule relationships. With Tariff+ you get all the tools required to add and manage new tariffs by yourself, up to changing system interfaces and print layouts. While many tariff structures can be mapped and managed in FareGo Data CS, the adjusted tariff data maintenance in Tariff+ delivers tariff maintenance which is tailored to your needs. You can use Tariff+ to only display the exact data to be managed, making data maintenance easier and more efficient in operation, with the additional benefits of a shorter training period and reduced the risk of error. Archive+ Archive+ is used to transfer the data to be filed into a separate database server. The archive data is of course still available for data mining in a database, your Fare- Go Data CS database will remain at its optimum performance level. In addition, FareGo Data CS as a realtime system will not be charged with resource intense queries for historical data. Paper+ The paper for ticket printing is a sensitive merchandise and needs to be handled with special care. With the comprehensive paper roll management Paper+, you always keep track of your ticket paper from the supply to the distribution and the destruction of paper roll residues.
