2 Embedded Software Engineer Job Description - December 2014 Issue D Managing Director, Hitex UK UK. We are looking for an experienced embedded systems software engineer to join our advanced safety microcontroller team to help us support users in the UK. This consultant-style role extends from driver development to applying the Infineon Aurix microcontroller under ISO26262 and IEC61508 functional safety standards. We have another team in Germany with whom we work on joint projects. Training will be provided but you will already need to be an experienced embedded software engineer to be able to meet the technical challenges. Knowledge of safety-related systems in the industrial control and automotive field would be useful. The role will involve regular travel within the UK and occasional trips to Germany. Qualifications: HND/BSc. Electronic Engineering/Computer Science or similar. Must already be eligible to work in the UK. Experience: Previous similar roles or experienced electronics or software engineer with safety experience who wants to move into a consultant-style role.
