2 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY ValuePRO is Australia s leading provider of software and operating systems for property valuation firms. Our technology has been developed and continually improved and overhauled since our inception over 8 years ago. Our software is now in use in every state and territory of Australia and in the past 2 years we ve been steadily growing our user base in New Zealand. We believe the core reasons why so many large and prestigious valuation firms choose our product can be summarised as follows: Customisable our product is an off the shelf system that can be completely tailored to each firm s requirements without requiring sophisticated knowledge, skills or hardware Turn Key our complete service includes the hosting, maintenance, backups, unlimited phone and e- mail based support, on-going upgrades, on-site training and import of existing historical data Up to date and connected We continually focus on the features that valuers need and want the most, such as integration with data providers like RP Data & PriceFinder or valuation portals such as Valex and VMS. When new technologies and platforms appear, we respond immediately for example our ipad software was ready only weeks after Apple s announcement and about 60 days before the hardware is released in Australia. Our client retention rate since inception is in excess of 97% and our user base has grown by more than 50% each year for the past 3 years in a row. 3 A COMPREHENSIVE OPERATING SYSTEM FOR A PROPERTY VALUATION PRACTICE ValuePRO is designed to be an end-to-end, all-in-one, operating system for valuation practices. The various components and features are summarised below: Web Based Administration System A highly secure web based administration portal. This is the core of the system with a centralised database of all jobs, clients, invoices, report writing tools, job assignment, tracking and reporting. Master users can re-design many elements of the system through point and click configuration. Client Portal The client portal gives your clients an easy self-service method for requesting new jobs, tracking the status of jobs in progress, requesting changes and uploading documents. Cuts down on telephone and traffic and gives your clients more convenient and timely access to their information. Mobile Field Data Collection Software Valuers can download jobs assigned to them and work on-line/offline in the field using the mobile device of their choice (iphone, ipod Touch, ipad, Windows Mobile, Windows Tablet all supported). After an inspection, the mobile software can connect to the server and upload all of the collected data. The job can then be completed and sent from the field or escalated for review and approval before release. Accounting System Integration Module We provide an off-the-shelf, bi-directional integration solution for valuation practices using QuickBooks & MYOB. Several of our customers have also used our accounting integration SDK to connect ValuePRO to systems as diverse as Attaché, AccPacc, Microsoft Dynamics, Hansa World and several other major accounting systems. Backup Software For ultimate peace of mind, ValuePRO comes with a free rsync compatible back up service and client software product called ValuePRO Backup. This product lets you periodically run differential backups to your own server of all files and database content we store for you. In the event of complete systems failure, your practice will always have on hand a complete backup of all your data. Files are provided in industry standard formats such as MS Word, Excel, PDF, SQL Server 2008 and XML. Reporting Services For complex reporting requirements, ValuePRO provides enterprise customers with hosted access to Microsoft SQL Reporting Services. This industry standard report generation product, similar to Crystal Reports, is well documented and it s easy to find IT professionals who can be engaged to deliver any conceivable reporting solution using this tool.
4 SQL Interface, ValuePRO Scripting Language, API & SDK For ultimate access to your system and data, we provide a programmer friendly environment that offers: - Read access to the underlying SQL Server 2008 database that your system resides on - Limited Write Access by arrangement to the underlying database - A point and click, xml based scripting language which gives your IT staff the ability to program in complex commands and formulae to automate repetitive tasks - Documentation, XML web service interfaces and.net compatible hosting space The unique combination of the above programmer focused tools has lead to many well resourced ValuePRO clients developing their own plug-in products and extensions into the ValuePRO service infrastructure. 5 SERVICE & SUPPORT The actual software we provide is only one component of our overall offering to your firm. Our philosophy is to provide you with an all encompassing, turnkey solution where we package together all of the components you need to operate your business. This includes: All Hosting, Backups, Redundant Systems, Monitoring & Maintenance this eliminates your firm from having to carry the large capital expenses and risks from self management of infrastructure and hardware. Access to Expert Technical Support Optional Consulting Services an implementation and business process expert can assist your firm in getting even more value out of the system These services are backed up by the following SLA targets, which we ve been consistently achieving for several years: SLA Summary: Level 4 Critical Complete system failure. Outage affecting multiple users and business operations. 15 minute response time, 1 hour fix Level 3 High Priority System unavailable. Normal operations impeded. Outage affecting multiple users. 1 hour response time, 4 hours fix Level 2 Standard Priority Lost functionality. Users can still work. 2 hours response time, 8 hours fix Level 1 Moderate Priority Users can still work but have lost some functionality. General enquiry or customisation request. 2 days response time, 16 hours fix Our track record of overall system uptime in the past 12 months is in excess of 99.9% during business hours. All major system maintenance activities that require an outage are programmed to occur between a 7pm to 7am window. Our data center and facilities management provider ( has had nil network level downtime to our equipment cages in the past 18 months.
6 MOBILE TOOLS FOR USE IN THE FIELD Our ValuePRO Mobile software platform is the only valuation product for capturing data in the field that allows you to use the hardware platform of your choice. The world s most popular field device operating systems that we support include: Windows (targeted at Tablet Edition but all versions of Windows from XP onwards are supported) Windows Mobile 5.0+, 6.0+ preferred, future versions being written for Windows Mobile 7.0+ Apple iphone OS includes ipod Touch, iphone 3G, iphone 3GS and now ipad The choice of device can be made individually by each valuer in the firm. A typical firm can mix and match devices so that everyone gets to work the way they each feel most comfortable with. Another important principle of our mobile software design is interoperability. Any valuer familiar with using one device type can switch to a different device, yet the entire user interface experience will be instantly familiar thereby cutting out training and adaptation costs. Our flexible device licensing policy and supply of trial hardware also gives your users time to test out the device of their choice in the real world before locking in their preference. A summary view of the software on each class of device is shown on the following pages. NB: While the screen shots shown are mostly self-explanatory, a comprehensive user guide for each software product is available upon request. 13 IMPLEMENTATION ValuePRO Implementation timeframes are generally dependent on the following factors: Number of queued implementations we currently have booked in at the time of your order Availability of your key staff during implementation for testing, validation and training Timeframes for provision to us of necessary data for importation Any functionality and customisation projects that you require us to be completed prior to going live Typical implementation timeframes for small to mid size projects vary from about 6 to 8 weeks from placement of your order. Larger implementation time frames can vary from 2 to 3 months or more depending on the complexity of transition arrangements.
