The international art-, design- and fashion-scene has become one of the most profitable growth markets over the recent years. It combines a multi billion dollar market with high societal status. The art target group consisting of gallerists, artists, curators, designer and, of course, collectors and vistors, is one of the most interesting for top brands, investment- and luxury goods. This target group is as demanding as educated. It is cosmopolitical, wealthy, and unconventional. But it also is very critical and likes to keep to themselves. Thus, the price of entry into the scene can be high. It takes building reputation. Money alone won t do it.

3 Company Gruppo del Café Palermo The name of Cafe Palermo dates back to 1877 and an old famliy history of Marc Fiedler. The company was set up in 1990 and has been licensed to a number of service companies since Cafe Palermo operates internationally and across disciplines for research and concept development in communication, design, architecture, fashion and gastronomy. The Gruppo del Cafe Palermo stands for outstanding innovation and quality driven by a team of experts with excellent know how. We believe that a key success factor behind many unique projects of the past has been the way we work with our network of partners and suppliers: A combination of maximum freedom and maximum alignment on content and goals. 7 Company The Epicentro art Epicentro art as a part of the Gruppo del Café Palermo has been founded by Marc Fiedler in Berlin in Summer 2008 with the purpose to show exhibitions of international artists. Also this year the focus will be put on contemporary art. The exhibition space hosts works by contemporary artists who work with photography, video or painting. Epicentro art showed exhibitions of Lukas Roth in cooperation with the gallery Camera Work and of Marc Seguin in cooperation with Charest Weineberg Gallery. Epicentro art is situated in the district Mitte/ Friedrichshain at the Karl Marx Alley. The goal is to sensitize for the interaction with this historical very important street, which Marc Fiedler and the Team Epicentro art define as one of the most important future Spots of Berlin.

8 Background Epicentro art The Epicentro, Berlin is placed in one of the famous Henselmann buildings at the Karl-Marx-Allee.
