13 State of the art and latest technology developments Reliability of Nexans Cable System Technology: HVAC XLPE insulated cables up to 245kV (300MVA) are fully qualified, 132kV to 1000m water depth. Up to 150km lenghts. Excellent in service record HVDC Paper insulated cables up to 500kV (800MW) are fully qualified at Nexans, 250kV to 1500m water depth. Up to 1000km lengths. Excellent e in service record HVDC XLPE insulated cables up to 320kV (500MW) are under development
