Bryant, Ph.D. o This research explored the effects of reading and writing instruction, which was provided by special education teachers and general education teachers in different types of classes (i.e., an English I inclusive classroom, a resource classroom, a pull-out tutoring program), on the daily reading and writing performance of students with LD. o My primary responsibilities involved managing daily operations; managing the database; reviewing lessons; observing and

4 MIN KYUNG KIM 4 documenting teachers as they administered lessons and students as they responded to intervention; communicating with content experts, teachers, and project staff; coordinating lesson revision and documentation of scaffolds employed; and helping write up study results. 2011, August - Graduate Research Assistant 2012, June High School English I Learning Disabilities Project; The Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk, University of Texas at Austin; Co-Principal Investigators: Diane P. Bryant, Ph.D. o My primary responsibilities involved collecting and analyzing students data (e.g., IEP, FIE), reconciling feedback from teachers and external reviewers, and grading and analyzing students independent practices. After observing classes conducted using our lesson materials, I constructed an observation tool to record teachers scaffolds and students behaviors. I regularly met with teachers and colleagues to determine how to revise the lessons. 2007, March - Project Coordinator 2011, July Jump-Up Class (for struggling learners); Seoul Seobu Office of Education Dong Haeng Project (Keeping Children Happy Project) for struggling learners from low-income families; Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education o My primary responsibilities involved examining effectiveness of programs by compiling statistics (SPSS) and revised collaborative reading strategies according to students reading abilities; administering school management committee meetings and resolving parents complaints regarding programs through management committee meetings; and providing students with learning disabilities and/or from low-income families with grantaided free passes to all after-school programs.
