My primary area of research concerns the nature of the factors that influence effective work processes. Specifically, I am interested in the effects of subordinate humor and political skill in leader-member exchange (LMX) relationships. Additional constructs of interest include communication and decision making. Further research interests include teams, training, and leadership. Additionally, I believe my practical and research experience enables me to be able bring in examples and takeaways that enrich student learning.
