1 Road Racing (Motor Vehicle Rally) (No. 2) (Jersey) Order 2014 Article 1 ROAD RACING (MOTOR VEHICLE RALLY) (No. 2) (JERSEY) ORDER 2014 Made Coming into force THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Article 2 of the Motor Vehicle Races (Jersey) Law 1946, and on the application of the Jersey Motor Cycle and Light Car Club, orders as follows 1 Application and interpretation (1) This Order applies subject to the Road Racing (General Provisions) (Jersey) Order 1959 ( the 1959 Order ). (2) For the purposes of this Order and the 1959 Order, the promoters are the Jersey Motor Cycle and Light Car Club. 2 Use of roads for races with motor vehicles For the purpose of races with motor vehicles, the promoters may (a) (b) use the public roads or parts of public roads described in the Schedule (the courses ); and close the courses to traffic, on the dates and between the hours specified in relation to each course. 3 Road Racing (Motor Vehicle Rally) (No. 2) (Jersey) Order 2014 SCHEDULE SCHEDULE (Article 2) PART 1: LAWRENCE STAGE Friday 10th October 2014 between 12 noon and 5.00 p.m. A course in the Parishes of St. Peter, St. Mary and St. Lawrence comprising: La Verte Rue from its junction with Les Six Rues into La Rue ès Boeufs (La Rue à Georges) as far as its junction with La Ruette ès Boeufs (La Rue du Couvent); La Ruette ès Boeufs (La Rue du Couvent) to its junction with La Rue Bechervaise; thence along La Rue Bechervaise to its junction with La Longue Rue and La Rue des Bessières; thence along La Rue des Bessières and Le Mont Sorsoleil to the latter s junction with La Route de L Église; thence along La Route de L Église to its junction with Le Mont Perrine; thence along Le Mont Perrine to its junction with La Rue de la Fontaine St. Martin; thence along La Rue de la Fontaine St. Martin to its junction with Les Charrières Malorey; thence southward along Les Charrières Malorey to its junction with Le Chemin des Montagnes; thence along Le Chemin des Montagnes to its junction with Les Charrières Malorey; thence northward along Les Charrières Malorey to its junction with Le Feugerel; thence along Le Feugerel to its junction with La Rue de la Ville au Bas; thence along La Rue de la Ville au Bas to its junction with Le Mont du Rocher; thence along Le Mont du Rocher to its junction with La Rue des Pres Sorsoleil. PART 7: PLATON STAGE Saturday 11th October 2014 between p.m. and 5.30 p.m. A course in the Parish of Trinity comprising: La Rue du Presbytère from its junction with La Rue des Croix to its junction with La Rue de la Petite Falaise; thence along La Rue de la Petite Falaise to its junction with Les Charrières du Boulay, thence along Les Charrières du Boulay to its junction with La Vieille Charrière; thence along La Vieille Charrière to its junction with La Rue du Tas de Geon; thence along La Rue du Tas de Geon to its junction with La Rue de Cambrai; thence along La Rue de Cambrai to its junction with la Rue des Platons; thence along La Rue des Platons to its junction with La Rue de la Petite Lande; thence along La Rue de la Petite Lande and La Rue du Nord to the latter s junction with La Rue de L Allée; thence along La Rue de L Allée to it junction with La Route D Ebenezer.
