You will also find tips for outings and answers to many of your other questions. In Saint-Denis Several facilities were created to meet the social and educational needs of families. The Direction de la Petite enfance organises, supervises and manages all the types of childcare for young children from 0 to 3 years. Five Maisons du Petit Enfant organise family care. The caregiver (assistantes maternelles) affiliated with these facilities take care of children between the ages of 2 months to 3 years in their own homes, everyday from 7:30 am until 6:30 pm except Saturdays, Sundays and

2 holidays. They bring children to the jardin d'enfants (playgroup) activities at specific times during the day, according a schedule set by the Maison du Petit Enfant.
