2 Faiveley Mazis Chambertin Grand Cru 2010 Retail: $1,480/btl Now: $1,280/btl BH 93-96: A very deeply pitched nose that displays fresh red and dark berry fruit and floral aromas along with notes of the sauvage that continue over to the serious and very solidly structured bigbodied flavors. This is an impressively scaled wine yet the supporting tannins are relatively fine though quite dense and as such, the overall impression is one of robust power even if it is refined in its delivery. This too is well worth considering.

Ultimately though, this is a wine of finesse and is very Chambolle in basic character.
