4 Send Fax (Tbit) Tl Intrductin Overview The Send Fax (Tbit) is an Output Tl which is used t create a Task Step that sends faxes that cntain static r dynamic cntent t ne r mre recipients via the market-leading mid-range fax slutins frm Tbit Sftware. The Tl supprts Tbit FaxWare and Tbit David; the pwerful unified messaging server. Tbit address bk and fax cver pages are als directly supprted. The Send Fax (Tbit) Step incrprates data frm Input and Frmat Steps int fax messages and then sends them t any number f recipients. It supprts bth Text and HTML data frm Steps such as Frmat as Text, Frmat as HTML and Run Crystal Reprt. If the riginal Input Step recrdset used by the Frmat Step includes a clumn that cntains a fax number, then this may be used as a dynamic recipient address. Fr any User t create a new Send Fax Step the name f the DvISE Server t be used must first be specified thrugh the Glbal Cnfiguratin dialg, (Ref: Figure 1). Cnfiguratin The Send Fax (Tbit) Step is cnfigured thrugh the Send Fax (Tbit) dialg which is the main interface fr creating a new Step. The dialg is displayed thrugh the methds described belw. T create a new Step: T pen an existing Step: The dialg cntains the fur tabbed panes listed and described belw thrugh which a Send Fax (Tbit) Step may be created and cnfigured. 4

The Main tab (Ref: Figure 3) allws the selectin f fax recipients and the cntent t be cnfigured thrugh the fllwing: Message nly If this ptin is selected then the message will cnsist f the text entered in the Message text bx area, including any clumns, prperties and variables incrprated within the text that are current at the time the Task is run. Dcument utput nly If this ptin is selected then text cannt be entered in the Message text bx area and the message will cnsist f the dcument r reprt frm the chsen data surce in the General tab. Select Recipients dialg The Select Recipients dialg (Ref: Figure 4) is used t chse the recipient f the SMS message thrugh the fllwing: 6

Recipient dialg The Recipient dialg (Ref: Figure 5) is displayed when either the Add r Edit buttns are selected in the Select Recipients dialg and is used t enter details fr new recipients f edit details fr existing nes. A number f pre-cnfigured cverpage templates are prvided by the Tbit sftware cntaining variables which can be assigned literal values r dynamic values frm clumns, prperties and variables expsed in the Task Brwser. 8

Optins The Optins tab (Ref: Figure 8) f the Send Fax (Tbit) dialg is used t cnfigure the Step behaviur if an errr ccurs when the Step is being prcessed.
