4 Who we are: The s group is a component of the Information Technology Services Department and collaborates with OMESA in the delivery of student support services. SOM s primary objective is to manage and maintain technology utilized for the delivery of the s curriculum.

11 Classroom & Event Recording: Recording capabilities only in the 3 Auditoriums and 4 Society Rooms. Recordings can only be performed at the request of the instructor. Ability to capture a camera view of the lecturer and a view of the computer screen (PowerPoint Slides). Videos are hosted on the University s video streaming server. A link is provided to the instructor for posting on Blackboard for student viewing.

17 SOM Lab Standard Image: Students requesting changes to the standard lab workstation or podia image must with specific information about the software, plug-in, or application and its curricular relevance. SOM EdTech will then review the request taking into consideration licensing, security, and OMESA.

21 Pharos Printing and Emory Card Deposits: The preferred and best method to make a deposit is by an ACH bank or check transfer through your OPUS account. Login to OPUS, Select "Finances", and then select "Make EmoryCard Deposit". The deposit will be posted to your Eagle Account within 60 minutes. Printing Refunds: All printing refund requests will be reviewed and must be documented via the EdTech HelpLine. (Printer Queue, Date & Time, Total Pages, Name, and Student ID Number)

22 Printing and Copying Alternatives PDF: Using the print command, Cute PDF Writer creates a portable friendly document. Digital Sender: Located in SOM 313, the Digital Sender creates and s single or multi page 8.5 X 11 documents.

30 Other Emory Technology Resources: Clean Room Services at Cox Hall Summer Session Hours Monday - Friday 11:00a - 4:00p Scan and clean your computer Install the latest UTS-supported anti-virus software and virus definitions Install a suite of anti-spyware solutions to combat future infections Uninstall ANY programs that pose security risks to your computer, including P2P software. The Clean Room is a free service for students and only students. Must be the owner of the computer Operate on a first-come, first-serve basis Must have power cords for laptops and recovery disks for both laptops and desktops. Two-three business days. (Some issues, however, will take longer to remediate, such as dire operational system problems.) Will make every effort to save your documents and image files if your computer becomes inoperable.
