DP&L and Vectren Scholarships April 17, 2015 Each $1,000 scholarship will be granted for college tuition and expenses to deserving students who have demonstrated outstanding energy leadership, knowledge and an interest in continuing their energy studies by pursuing an energy- related career. The scholarships are facilitated by the Ohio Energy Project, a non- profit energy education organization that also works with DP&L and Vectren on their energy efficiency programs and activities. Qualified applicants must: *Be a graduating high school senior *Show a demonstrated involvement in energy- related classroom, school or community activities or programs *Reside in DP&L and Vectren's service territories *Be members of families who are customers of both DP&L and Vectren. Their aim is to recognize and reward men who excel in leadership, extracurricular activity, and scholastic achievement, and share a common interest in Agriculture. 2 Lead the Way Scholarship April 20, 2015 Lead the way is a $5,000 creative scholarship program sponsored by Community Blood Center and Vectren to support young adults who will be our blood resource leaders of tomorrow. CBC and Vectron will award $1,000 scholarships to five graduating, college- bound seniors whose high school hosts a CBC blood drive. Student- View Scholarship Program April 22, 2015 The 2015 Student- View Scholarship program is offering $10,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend college or a career school next year. Simply log on view.com and complete a minute application survey about colleges in your area. The scholarship will be awarded via a random drawing of all completed applications. Edison State Community College Scholarships April 22, 2015 A variety of scholarships are available for students attending Edison State Community College. Abbott and Fenner Essay Scholarship Program June 15, 2015 Abbott and Fenner are committed to continuing their efforts at helping those who have the desire and ambition to succeed at the college level. The winner(s) of this scholarship will receive their award within 2 weeks of the listed deadline. All applicants should include their full name and mailing address with their submissions. The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution. In order to do their part, BigSun is offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. 5 AES Engineers Scholarship October 7, 2015 AES believes that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason they are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluated the essays that are submitted. Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study.
