Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) - a program where students in Western states may enroll in participating 2-year and 4-year public colleges at reduced tuition levels. Job Corps is hands-on career training and education program that can help students find the path to personal and career success all at no cost to eligible youth. Information: IAHA (International Air and Hospitality Academy) offers programs for students interested in the airline industry, hotel, restaurant and event management, culinary, wind turbine and rail operations. GENERAL SCHOLARSHIPS The Christian Connector provide a Free Christian college information service as well as a $2,500 Christian College scholarship drawing. Many schools offer scholarships for one through four years, focusing on your GPA, your community spirit, your financial need, your desire to study abroad, or your selected major.

The course fee is $545 and includes 20 hours of instruction plus three practice tests. This training program will completely prepare an individual to pass the certification board exam or EXCPT. The fee is $250. 5 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards are accepting applications from students who are making a difference through volunteering. Go to for more information and submit your application no later than November 12. DECEMBER 2013 Eugene Elks Student Scholarship applications are due by December 6. NEW NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation award application can be found at It will be available from October 1 December 17. The awards recognize young people who have demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and initiative. JANUARY 2014 Oregon School Facilities Management Association has scholarships available for seniors looking to pursue an area of study that will enhance their abilities in facilities management, maintenance, support operations, engineering or technology. Applications are due by January 14 and information is at FEBRUARY 2014 Oregon Wheat Foundation Scholarship up to 12 $1000 scholarships for sons and daughters of OR Wheat Growers League members and employes. Winners will be selected on school and community involvement, scholastic performance and an essay on the wheat industry. Applications are due by February 3 and are available at National Co-Op Scholarship Program is the largest independently sponsored merit co-op scholarship program in the US. They will award 160 merit scholarships. For more information on the member school and qualifications go to Applications are due by February 14. APRIL 2014 Peace Scholarships are available to high school seniors with commitment to peace and social justice. Applications are available in the CCC and are due by April 30.
