5 HOW IT WORKS Participating People post pictures on Instagram identifying the categories with the respective hashtag (#snapysfood, #snapyspeople, #snapystravel, #snapysmusic) Voting Users access the photo gallery, log in to vote using their favorite Social Network account Winning The website shows the amount of votes per picture and per category #snapystravel The pictures are crawled and published on TheSnapys.com or on the partner s website. and submit only one vote per category per phase. The first phase shortlists the 10 most voted pictures per category, and the second phase, open for new votes, selects the top 5. A judge decides the winner of each category.

14 INSTAGALLERY In September 2013, Ireland s first Instagallery was organised to celebrate the launch of connector360. Uniting art, technology & entertainment, we had a live interactive wall that was updated in real time with photos from the event. The Instagram photo gallery featured 10 influential photographers whose work was showcased on the walls. We had a DJ who captivated everyone and made this gallery experience unique. With almost no budget and a short lead time, we had over 200 attendees and media coverage in the Irish Times. We had over 150,000 impressions across different social networks. This was one of the best events organised by Connector with the energy in the room quite electrifying!
