6 Settings: control files: how to use NB: be very careful, correctly used these files will make your site much faster, with just 1 incorrect character they can stop you site in its tracks, so test carefully. prepare your robot.txt file contents here whenever you rebuild your whole site an xml sitemap is prepared which if placed in your web root folder will help get your site indexed better the.htaccess file is created here automatically, when placed in your root folder on an Apache server it will speed up your site click to export your robots.txt file to your output folder click to export your sitemap.xml file to your output folder click to rebuild your.htaccess file contents then copy and paste into a text editor and save as.htaccess with no extension before placing in your web site root folder
