2 CULTURE WORKING GROUP CWG is WG, witch try to improve Cultural aspects in AEGEE and to involve people interesting in culture. The CWG is a platform which allows all of us to see the fact that we are surrounded by culture: music, theatre, cinema, and all kinds of art and history. It is also a space where we can give culture our own interpretation and meaning. We share our ideas, thoughts, opinions and experiences concerning culture, cultural projects and cultural events. Why to organise a SU with us? The CWG help to organizers make interesting program, materials for workshops, Ideas for games and competitions. Trainers for workshops and lectures. We will help you to get the best people, we will make a good PR for you. Try to help with partnerships with other NGO's and companies. We full of creative ideas for you. We happy to support you to make the best SU ever! Contact Info Website: cwg@aegee.org 1 Idea for Summer University Topic of the Summer University: Traditions Short Description: The topic have to includes traditional music, dance, gastronomy, traditional ceremonies, knowledge about traditional symbols Participants will learn to prepare traditional dishes. Participants will learn to dance traditional dances. Participant will get to know the power of creativity. Participants will explore different cultures and break their cultural stereotypes. Participants will improve their presentation skills. Traditions of SU: Explain about traditions in your local. Make your own traditions of SU with all participants. Visiting concert with traditional music, dances. Visiting museums, City tours: Museums of history, traditional clothes. City tours with legends, the life of a famous person that lived there or with history of this place. City tour with competitions. Traditional dinner: Prepare a traditional dinner: cooked by the organisers or traditional restaurant. Workshops: Performance and lesson of traditional dances. Cooking traditional dish. Design of traditional symbols (hand-made). Learning about traditional ceremonies. Workshop about different traditions.

Create the own language of SU: Body language and tongue language Language: Organize a mini language course where participants teach each the group a few phrases, have a competition who knows the best tongue twister, discover similar words, or order that mean one thing in one language and something different in another, learn a new alphabet, discover different expressions that include the name of a nationality - talk about stereotypes 3 Idea for Summer University Topic of the Summer University: Unique cultural SU Short Description: Participants are trainers, has talent or skills to show! Each of them (or group of participants) has to prepare workshop about cooking, design, dance, music... In day for 2 workshops. The organizers can prepare workshop about their traditions in dance, music and etc. At the end we will get amazing event, really cultural one! Participants will learn to prepare traditional dishes. Participants will learn to dance traditional dances. Participants will explore different kinds of literature. Participant will get to know the power of creativity through theatre art, music, art, cinema, photography, design.

Short Description: The topic can to include different kind of design, or all together design. Or topic can to include just art painting and drawing. Or you can choose photography. Participants will explore different cultures and break their cultural stereotypes. Participants will gain a creative view of solving problems. Participants will improve their PR skills and communication skills. Participants will improve their skills in design and in photography. Participants will improve their skills in drawing. Fashion design: Workshop about history of traditional clothes. Workshop about how to create a fashion show (podium, thematic, music, how costume should be provide with make-up and hair...). Workshop about creating traditional toy, symbol of your country. Creative fashion show (traditional costumes, funny costume-is can be wear all clothes on you) Fashion show on the street (is can be show in AEGEE t-shirts, or skin art costumes) Create costume for AEGEE member. Workshops about stylemake pictures of people on the street and talk about their style. Create a SU t-shirt with country specific motives and patterns. ART: Workshop about creating Street art. Workshop about creating abstract picture, creating art picture of SU on the big paper. Workshop about basic skills of drawing + drawing each other. Workshop about create sculpture. Create a SU t-shirt with country specific motives and patterns. Photography: Workshop about history in photography, different styles in photography. Workshop about brainstorming session "How photography can change the world"(the examples in history).workshop about photography with practice (in studio with professional light or outside).visiting museums about photography or photo exhibition. Creative photo sessions between organisers and participants. Style photo sessions. Art photo sessions. Photo exhibition at the end of SU SUSHKA (exhibitions on the street) or exhibition in cafe, museum, hostel. Awards for best photographers. Create a collage of best of SUs (photos from all participants) - and you will get PHOTOGRAPHY of the SU! Creating a postcard from photos, and send to AEGEEans. Creating photo album for SU. Create creative video of SU from photo.

5 Interior, product, architecture design: Workshop about creating AEGEE house, AEGEE sofa, chair, lamp... Workshop about creating new adaptation from ordinary things (how they can be used), and think how you can PR them (small PR company). Workshop about AEGEE town, how he will be look like, what he should include (clubs, apartments, restaurants...) Graphic design: Create a poster of SU (each of participants can share ideas, and all together draw it or make it in Photoshop, coral...) Workshop about design program + about fonts (basic). Workshop about creating posters for AEGEE, who each of AEGEE locals can use it for PR in universities (should be agree with Visual Identity AEGEE). Workshop about creating merchandising products for AEGEE (cups, pens...) Activity for all topics: It can be focus of some kind of design or altogether. Basic for all: Workshop about history of design or art in country. Workshop about PR of your product. Workshop about creativity. Workshop about Visual Identity AEGEE. Visit the museums about design, art (with some activities).make the exhibition at the end of SU. Create art pieces for AEGEE-Museum (CWG present this in AGORA). Create interesting unique creative video of SU (is can be photos or video). The thematic city tour with history. Specific city tour (interesting buildings, interesting interior...)
