2 NATIONAL CREATIVE INSTITUTE Under the brand National Creative Institute is planned to build up a network of regional departments which work in close cooperation with universities, for-profit and non-profit patners, municipalities and governmental bodies, etc. Its supervising organization is the 100% state-owned Carpathia Ltd. The first regional Creative Institute has been established at the beginning of 2014 in Szombathely. The National Creative Institute wants to contribute to the national and international competitiveness and sustainability of the creative industry by developing the regional creative industry promoting creative employment policy and creating jobs developing technologies for mobilization, car industry and mechatronics its incubation activity for the regional creative and internet industry creating creative university studies and training programs
3 THE CREATIVE INDUSTRY Creative industries are those based on individual creativity, mastery, expertise and abilities, and so are able to create prosperity and employment through the creation and use of intellectual property. Creative industries can be sorted into the following groups according to UNCTAD categories: Cultural Heritage Traditional fields of cultural expression areas Arts and artisanship Places of culture conveyance Archeological sites, museums, libraries, exhibitions Arts Performing arts Live music, theatre, dance, opera, etc. performances Visual arts Painting, sculpture, photography, etc. Media Audio-visual content Film, television, radio, other broadcasts Books and other printed material publishing Electronic and printed press Functional areas New media Software development, video games, digitalized creative content Creative service Architecture, advertising industry, creative R&D, cultural and entertainment content and services Planning Industrial arts, interior design, graphics, ergonomic design and fashion, jewelry, toys

7 Partnership between the National Creative Institute and the Federation of Hungarian Historic Vehicle Clubs (MAVAMSZ) Agreement signed: 22 February 2014 in Szombathely The long-term goal of the cooperation: The inclusion of heritage protection in the technologies of the future, prescribing new paths along the intersection of these fields.
8 Partnership between the National Creative Institute and the Federation of Hungarian Historic Vehicle Clubs (MAVAMSZ) The main topics of the project in Szombathely: Creative education in the area of heritage protection The accreditation of the new mechanical engineering course at Savaria University paves the way for the launch of the restoration engineer course. This includes new elements of digital technology, such as 2D and 3D modeling, reproduction (e.g. spare parts), inclusion of synthetic materials, with special focus on new printing technologies. Digital information publishing, raising awareness of vehicle heritage protection. Application of new technologies in the field of vehicle heritage protection: creation of international professional databases; online trade The creation of the Trans-Danubian Creative Economic Development Center s Creative Automotive Technology Center starting from 2016: Get to know Design Create Play Have Fun

27 CONCLUSION The world is now heading in a direction that seems to make heritage protection part of the creative industry. This means that vehicle heritage protection will need to find it s place and role in the given national, European and international creative industry.
