3 Logging In To login to your account, enter your Username and Password details into the login box located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. The website gives you the ability to choose which page you would like to start in once you login. Using the drop-down list under Username in the login box, choose to start in My Home, Quotes, Portfolio, Watchlist, Market Watch or Company Research. 1.

4 Your Home Page Using the Manage My Homepage feature, you can customise your homepage to suit your needs. Simply click Show in the top right corner to launch the Manage My Homepage window and select each of the content items you want to display. Customise your homepage and choose to see what s most important to you. When customising your homepage, choose from a range of information and functions including the latest News Feeds, Market Update, Market Watch, Watchlist, All Ords, Market Indices and Exchange Rates. 2.

5 Quick Links Menu To help you access important parts of the website faster, we ve created the Quick Links navigation toolbar which is always visible just below the login box at the top right of the screen. The Quick Links menu gives you one-click access to the most popular functions from any page in the site. Roll over the icons in the menu with your mouse cursor to display the text explanations. So no matter which page of the website you are on, you re never more than one-click away from the most popular functions such as Buy, Sell, Quotes and the Account Snapshot feature. 3.

6 Transferring Funds 1. Transferring Funds Into Your Trading Account: To BPAY funds into your trading account, simply call your phone banking service or log on to your Internet Banking then select the bill payment option. Follow the simple instructions and enter your BPAY Biller Code and reference number when prompted to complete the transfer. For easy transfer of funds save the BPAY Biller Code in your internet banking list of BPAY billers. To confirm your BPAY Reference Number, select My Account > My Profile > Personal & Account Details from the left-hand navigation of the new website and click on the Acount Details Tab. 2. Transferring Funds Out of Your Trading Account: Sale proceeds will automatically be credited to your nominated bank account at the time of settlement (usually 3 business days after trade). 7 Placing a Share Trade We ve made placing a share trade via the website quick and easy by giving you the ability to place a trade in a number of different ways: 1. Click the Buy (+) or Sell (-) icon in the Quick Links menu beneath the login box at the top right of the screen 2. Using the Quotes screen, once you ve located your desired security, click Buy or Sell displayed in the top right-hand corner 3. Click on a security from within your Watchlist or Custom Portfolio. This takes you to the Quotes screen for that security and from there you can choose Buy or Sell as described above 4. You can also place an order from the Place Order - Shares page under Trading in the left-hand menu To place an order from the Place Order-Shares page simply complete all fields marked with a red asterisk and follow the prompts. You can learn more about what information is required in each of the fields by moving your mouse curser over the question marks to the left of each field. 1. Search for all equity codes using the predictive stock picker 2. Quote and market depth views are available from within the Order Pad so price adjustments can be made immediately 3. Order estimates are displayed dynamically once all fields in the Order Pad are completed 4. View funds available within the Order Pad before completing a transaction Buy or sell an equity from any page using the Buy (+) or Sell (-) icon in the Quick Links menu beneath the login box at the top right of the screen. 5.

8 Issuer Sponsored Selling There are two ways to sell your issuer sponsored shares: 1. Over the phone through our Trading Room. 2. Online via the standard Place Order Shares screen by selecting Trading > Share Orders > Place Order. Buy or sell both participant sponsored and issuer sponsored equities from the one convenient screen. To sell your Issuer Sponsored holdings, simply select Sell under Order Type in the order pad and enter your Issuer Sponsored SRN (Security Reference Number) when prompted under Settlement. 6.

9 Smart Portfolio The Portfolio section allows you to see a consolidated view of all your accounts on one screen. On the Account Summary screen, you can view your account and the total value of your holdings (including Issuer Sponsored holdings) on one page, as well as your funds available for trading. The Holdings page provides details of your holdings (CHESS and Issuer Sponsored) including a Holdings Summary Chart for a visual snapshot. Get an overview of your entire position quickly and easily. Access the Portfolio screen by selecting My Account > My Portfolio > Portfolio from the left-hand menu, or select Portfolio from the Quick Links menu. 7.

10 Research tools We know that access to incisive, up-to-date research makes smart investing simpler. That s why our research offering gives you more information than ever before as standard. However, if you would like even greater information to help better inform your investment decisions, you can also subscribe to one of our two enhanced research packages: Premium Research Upgrade to the premium service package for $9.90 a month and receive live market data, company announcements, Morningstar stock recommendations and Reuters news service in addition to the standard information listed above. More information as standard including: LexisNexis News Stand Live Company Announcements Daily ASX and world market updates from Morningstar Enhanced market data including Market Indices, S&P ASX50, Sector Analysis and Market Watch Professional Research Upgrade to the professional service package for $77.00 per month and receive live market data, company announcements, Morningstar stock recommendations, Reuters news service, dynamic ASX market data and access to the Core Trader platform in addition to the standard information services. To subscribe to either the Premium or Professional research package, select My Account > My Profile > Alerts and Subscriptions from the left-hand menu. Then under the subscriptions tab across the top of the screen, click Subscribe next to the appropriate research service. Be rewarded for your active trading with rebates on your research subscription costs. Simply complete 2 trades (Premium Research package) or 15 trades (Professional Research package) in a calendar month and receive that month s subscription cost back. Subscriptions are charged monthly in arrears and are individually direct debited from your nominated bank account. 8.

11 Alerts Alerts can let you know when your nominated stock(s) reach a specified price, volume or a company announcement is made. You can also use time alerts to get updates on stocks at times nominated by you throughout the day. You can elect to receive alerts by SMS and/or when you subscribe. Alert credits are purchased in blocks of 100 credits for $22 (incl GST). The cost of each alert is: - ½ credit SMS - 1 credit 1. Setup SMS or alerts for the following notifications Price & Volume for Equities, Announcements and Time Alerts 2. You can now setup alerts via the Watchlist menu 3. Add new alerts without knowing the exact ASX code using the predictive Stock Picker 4. Add new addresses and mobile numbers for alerts to be delivered to 5. Detailed usage report on alert credits available and when the alerts have been used Cancel an alert by going to the Alerts page and selecting it. If you cancel an alert before it is triggered you will not be charged. When you subscribe to alerts, you ll purchase your first block of 100 credits ($22 incl GST). Each time you are sent an alert, your credits reduce accordingly. Once you are down to 10 credits, your account is automatically topped up with another block of 100 credits for $22 (incl GST). Cancel your alerts subscription at any time online. Once you ve cancelled your subscription, you can continue to receive alerts until any remaining credits are used up, but no further direct debits will be made from your account. Subscribe to Alerts online by selecting Watchlists > Alerts from the left-hand menu. 9.

12 Quotes The consolidated Quotes page gives you fast access to intuitive information. All you need to know about a security is accessible from one page including full trading details plus price and snapshot charting for tracking individual stock movements. Then, if you decide to place a trade, it s just one click to Buy or Sell. 1. Simply type in the code for the desired security if you know it or click the magnifying glass to look-up the code 2. Quick market depth available in the quote view 3. Quickly switch between a variety of views and information available - Market Depth, Course of Sales, Option Series, Company Research and advanced Charts - all you have to do is click the relevant tab 4. Detailed company research provided by Morningstar With the Search bar available in the top-right of every page, you re never more than one-click away from accessing quote information. Plus, search for content and functions on the website by typing in keywords. 10.

13 Enhanced charting The Charts page gives you a great range of options for creating custom charts. You can: create custom date ranges; choose your chart style including Mountain, Candlestick and % change; add comparisons to another share price, Australian index or Australian sector; and much more. Powerful charting helps better inform your investment decisions by giving you amazing insight into market trends. Move your mouse cursor anywhere on the chart to view Open, High, Low and Close prices corresponding to that date. 11.

14 Custom Portfolios and Watchlists View your Watchlist as a Custom Portfolio and track the purchase price and profit and loss of each stock. You can create up to 50 different Watchlists and 50 Custom Portfolios, each containing up to 35 stocks. You can view and organise your Watchlists by selecting Watchlists > Watchlists from the left-hand menu. 1. Quick access to the Watchlists via the Quick Links menu at the top of each page 2. Switch between a variety of views including: a. Options b. CFDs c. Equities 3. Both Market Sensitive and General Announcements are displayed against stocks in the Watchlist 4. Add and rename watchlists with a single mouse click 5. Download a Watchlist (in csv format) to use in your favourite financial application 1. Switch between Shares, Portfolio and Options views by clicking the view selector beneath the Watchlists drop-down menu 2. View up to 5 Watchlists at once by grouping them using the Group Watchlists function 12.
