Be sure to know how to calculate and explain your market s absorption rate* There are numerous blogs and websites on the internet to find free resources to share with your clients whether on your own blog, website or in an newsletter or print publication. AltosResearch.com - RealMarketReports.com -KeepingCurrentMatters.com *Definition of Absorption Rate/Months of Inventory An estimate of how fast listings are currently selling measured in months. For example, if 10 properties sell per month and there are 80 properties for sale there is an 8 month supply of inventory before counting the additional properties that will come on the market.

4 Using Social Media to Communicate Real Estate Info Blogging: There are numerous blogging platforms including Blogger, Wordpress, Typepad, and Tumbler as well as Rebel Mouse. Also consider answer sites like Trulia Voices and Zillow Answers. Social Media Sites: Use Facebook Pages and Groups to provide local information including photographs to your community. Also share local photos and on sites like Instagram, Flickr and videos on YouTube. Good examples of videos by agents on YouTube are by Frankly Realty in Virginia and Cyndee Hayden in Florida. Location based social media sites like Yelp and Foursquare are places to provide valuable information about your community. Using Traditional Tools to Communicate Real Estate Information In order to effectively communicate with clients, it is important to select a good Contact Management System. GaryDavidHall.com is an expert on CRM s for real estate. Use an newsletter like Constant Contact or Mail Chimp to easily comply with the Can Spam Act. Or consider a print newsletter, an Annual State of the Market, or postcards to communicate with clients. Creating an Online and Offline Client Resource Center Use tools like the ScanSnap ix500 and tools like Evernote, Dropbox to create a client resource center.

5 What is Evernote? Cloud based document and resource manager. How is it different from Dropbox? Dropbox is for files. Evernote is for everything else. DropBox is your hard drive in the cloud. Evernote is your memory. How to start using Evernote? Download to your computer Add the app to your mobile devices You now have 3 ways to access Evernote: 1.
