Duties included supervising and training undergraduates to collect primary data, run preference and reinforcement assessments, collect interobserver reliability data, and graph data into Excel. In addition, I supervised first year master students in the development of a protocol to increase engagement in activities by older adults and the subsequent training of staff on how to run these activities. In addition I co-designed research protocols, conducted research sessions, supervised and trained graduate students to conduct research sessions. Research studies included research on the stability of preferences in older adults with dementia, the development of a behavioral assessment of aphasia, extinction-induced behavioral variability, and a latency assessment and treatment of elopement. Participated in weekly lab meetings with a supervisor to discuss the current data for ongoing research projects and plans for development of new projects. I supervised and guided parents and teachers on the implementation of functional analyses (trial and session based) with their child or students. Attended bi-weekly supervision meetings in which data from severe behavior cases were critically analyzed and decisions were made. Assisted in recruiting military families and tutors to participate in a grant funded project. Supervised in-home early intervention services to military families. Provided state-of-the-science assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior services to teachers and students through a webbased consultation model supported through grant funding.
