Clinical Work Experience Night Staff Counselor Edgewood Center for Children and Families Aug 12 - Current Watch over the safety of a diverse population of at-risk youth throughout the night, provide both physical and emotional support to youth and staff, support youth during both night and morning routine, prepare and transfer them to both on site and off site schools, administer medication, provide individualized care to high-need youth, involve in making and executing behavioral contracts as part of children s treatment plans, transfer and supervise youth in psychiatric emergency setting. Night Staff Counselor Seneca Center - San Francisco Clinical Treatment Facility Aug. 11 July 12 Worked with a diverse population of at-risk youth to maintain their safety and comfort throughout the night, provided both support to youth in regular routines, administered medication, provided one-on-one counseling, supported the school team in classrooms, involved in making and executing behavioral contracts as part of residents treatment plan.

Night Staff Supervisor R House rehabilitation center for chemically addicted youth Jan. 06 Aug. 08 Offered emotional support to residents and developed positive relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries, managed conflict, cooked meals, taught independent living skills, administered medication, conducted searches of both residence quarters as well as residence s person, transported residence as required, and managed a night staff team of three. Relief Staff, both Night and Day Community Support Network live-in treatment for adults with mental illness Dec. 05- Spring 08 Performed check-ins with a diverse population of clients, administered medication, coordinated support groups, and assisted clients as needed. Group Facilitator, Men of Strength (MOST) United Against Sexual Assault Aug. 07- Jul. 08 Taught healthy relationship and views of modern masculinity groups to adolescent males who were both victims and perpetrators of sexual assault in correctional as well as residential treatment environments, wrote curriculum, and co-wrote grant proposals.
