I also conducted research on bully prevention interventions and effective teaching practices Statewide PBS/RTI coordinator July 2008 July 2009 Effective Behavioral & Instructional Support Trained 28 Oregon Districts on the development of infrastructure for the sustained implementation of evidence based practices including PBS, academic supports, and RTI. Lead Researcher Nov Present Developed and evaluated a novel bully prevention program for implementation within school-wide positive behavior support. The study involved 483 students in 3 Elementary schools in Oregon. July Present Oregon Research Institute, U of Oregon Worked on a team in the development and evaluation of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy within Positive Behavior Support, an intervention designed to provide teachers with more effective strategies for dealing with stress and burn out. The study involved 36 schools and over 200 teachers in Oregon. Sept June 2007 Institute of Violence and Destructive Behavior Worked on a team in the development and evaluation of a measure for middle schools implementing school-wide positive behavior support and worked on the implementation and development of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for teachers experiencing stress and burn out. Lead Researcher Nov Dec Education and Community Supports, U of Oregon Conducted research on the effects of School-Wide Positive Behavior Support on teacher stress and efficacy. Consultant/ Sept Present Consulted on the implementation of School-Wide Positive Behavior Support and collected behavior data on 8 tracking students within the study. Jan Present Amanda Sanford Dissertation, U of Oregon Assisted in the creation of observation tools, development of operational definitions, and Collection of behavior data on functional analysis and reading instruction. Feb Present Conducted the School-wide Evaluation Tool in schools within the 4-J district of Eugene, Oregon.
