3 On the 12th March 2002, Renfe and Siemens established, with the aim of rendering integral maintenance services for rolling stock and railway infrastructure. The setting up of NERTUS allows to make the most of the synergy between Siemens, as technologist and manufacturer of trains and the Dirección General de Fabricación y Mantenimiento, RENFE Integria, which is Renfe s industrial organization specialised in rolling stock maintenance. NERTUS started business on May 1st, 2002 in the maintenance depot of Renfe-Cercanías in Cornellá de Llobregat, a town close to Barcelona. folletoingles2.indd /02/10 10:26
