Test Date Registration Deadline 4/4/09 2/27/09 3/13/09 6/13/09 5/8/09 5/22/09 Remember If you have an IEP or 504 Plan and qualify for any testing accommodations, you MUST complete a special registration form for the SAT or ACT. The forms need to be completed PRIOR to the test for you to qualify for special testing accommodations. Please see your counselor for these forms. General and specific college scholarships are on file in the Counseling Center. In order to be considered for a School Nominated Scholarship, students must complete a School Nominated Scholarship Application. Take the time to fill one out so you have all of the many scholarship opportunities available to you. When School Nominated Scholarships become available, they are announced via morning announcements and in the Lancer Lines. If a student is interested in being nominated, they must have a School Nominated Scholarship application on file with Mrs. Hamilton in the Counseling Center. The Scholarship Committee teachers, administrators, guidance counselors then select the student(s) who best meets the criteria of that scholarship. Seniors St. Lawrence University - Information about financial aid and scholarships can be found at This leadership opportunity is for high school juniors and seniors to learn about and analyze proposed legislation in Albany for three days from April 3-6, Over 200 Hispanic students from all regions of New York State will attend this event. Interested students should attend the first meeting scheduled for Saturday, December 13, at the Rundel Library from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If interested, contact Ellen Paz at Learn about MCC s new Nursing Program specifically for academically strong high school applicants. An information session for high school students, parents and counselors is scheduled for Thursday, December 11, 6 7 p.m. at MCC s R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center, Bldg. 3.
