It is not based on financial need. Student must have a 2.8 or higher grade point average, demonstrate leadership abilities in school activities or through work experience, show a strong commitment to and involvement in community service. They must also plan to attend an accredited, non-profit U.S. college, university, or vocational school. 3 Merrimack College 2 nd Annual STEM (Science and Enginering) 11/05/10 Online The School of Science and Engineering at Merrimack College will hold its 2 nd Annual STEM on Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. The winning entrant will receive a full-tuition scholarship to study one of 8 STEM disciplines, for an estimated 4-year value of $120,000. Additional runnerup scholarships of $15,000 per year will also be awarded. The competition is free of charge, however registration forms are due no later than November 5. Scholars receive a minimum award of $25,000 and in some cases up to full tuition annually in both merit-based and need-based aid. This award is renewable annually for up to four years of continued full-time enrollment at Ithaca College. 6 Ithaca College Park Scholars Awards 01/15/11 Guidance The Ithaca College and Roy H. Park School of communications offers the 4- year renewable Park Scholars Awards to cover the full cost of attendance (currently $45,944) each year and also includes stipends for living expenses, books, and a one-time computer purchase of $2,500 to eligible students.
