2 Big Sun Scholarship Selection Criteria Must be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution. Thomas Clark Foundation Criteria The applicant must have suffered the loss of a parent at some point in his/her life. The applicant must have full intention of applying for a higher education, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Application - available at American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) Students interested in pursuing careers in the performing arts should visit our website for more information. Auditions for admissions and scholarships will be held in Cincinnati on Saturday, March 21, 2009.

3 Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools Selection In cooperation with legislative members of the Ohio General Assembly and 35 participating career colleges, are offering over 180 scholarships. These scholarships are available to any high school senior graduating from any Ohio high school in June The applicant must have at least a C average and be nominated by a current member of the Ohio Legislature. Application Please see your counselor for eligible colleges and for complete application rules. Deadline April 1, 2009 The Winners Club Scholarship Fund Selection This scholarship is for students majoring in Education with a minimum GPA of 3.5. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of financial need, academic merit, as well as extracurricular activities. Applications available at Deadline April 15, 2009

4 Seniors Helpers Scholarship Selection Seniors Citizens would like to reward high school seniors who have helped provide companionship to senior citizens. We are awarding two scholarships of $250 each. Application Please go to Kent State University Selection Stan and Tom Wick Poetry Scholarship Awards for $4000, $3000, and $1500. Criteria Awards are granted on the basis of one poem postmarked by February 1 as long as the students meet basic criteria for admission to KSU. Students who meet criteria for admission to the Honors College at KSU, may also enter a separate poetry competition with a March 1 deadline.
