(For example by Sepia, red, gold etc.) A grayscale or mul -colored image modified or giving the impression of having been modified by par al toning, mul toning or by the inclusion of spot coloring does not meet the defini on of monochrome and shall be classified as a Color Work.. ATURE: ature Photography is restricted to the use of the photographic process to depict all branches of natural history, except anthropology and archaeology, in such a fashion that a well informed person will be able to iden fy the subject material and cer fy its honest presenta on. The story telling value of a photograph must be weighed more than the pictorial quality while maintaining high technical quality. *Human elements shall not be present, except where those human elements are integral parts of the nature story such as nature subjects, like barn owls or storks, adapted to an environment modified by humans, or where those human elements are in situa on depic ng natural forces, like hurricanes or dal waves. *Scien fic bands, scien fic tags, or radio collars on wild animals are permissible. *Photographs of human created hybrid plants, cul vated plants, feral animals, domes c animals, or mounted specimens are ineligible as is any form of manipula on that alters the truth of the photographic statement. *o techniques that add, relocate, replace, or remove pictorial elements except by cropping are permi ed. *Techniques that enhance the presenta on of photograph without changing the nature story or the pictorial content, or without altering, the content of the original scene, are permi ed including HR, focus staking and dodging/burning. Technique that remove elements added by the camera, such as dust spots, digital noise, and film scratches, are allowed. *S tched images are not allowed. *All allowed adjustments must appear natural. *Color images can be converted to grayscale monochrome. *nfrared images, either direct-captures or deriva ons, are not allowed.. WLLFE: mages entered in Wildlife sec on mee ng the ature Photography efini on above are further defined as one or more extant zoological or botanical organisms free and unrestrained in a natural or adopted habitat. *Landscape, geological forma ons, photographs of zoo or game farm animals or of any extant zoological or botanical species taken under controlled condi ons are not eligible in Wildlife sec ons. *Wildlife is not limited to animals, birds and insects. Marine subjects and botanical subjects (including fungi and algae) taken in a wild are the suitable wildlife subjects, as are carcasses of extant species, mages mee ng the Wildlife efini on may be entered in ature sec ons as well as Wildlife sec ons.. PHTJURALSM: Photojournalism entries shall consists of images or sequences of images with informa ve content and emo onal impact, including human interest, documentary and spot news. The journalis c value of the igital mages shall be considered pictorial quality. n the interest of credibility, images that misrepresent the truth and model or staged set ups are not permi ed. Techniques that add to, relocate, replace or remove any elements of the original image, except by cropping, are not permi ed. Techniques that enhance the presenta on of the image, without changing the photojournalism content, are permi ed. All adjustments must appear natural. PHT TRAVEL: A Photo Travel image must express the feeling of a me and place, and portray a land, its dis nc ve features or culture in its natural state. There are no geographical limita ons. Closeup pictures of people or objects must include dis nguishable environment. Techniques that add to, relocate, replace or remove ant element of the original image, except by cropping are not permi ed. All adjustments must appear natural. Conversion to full monochrome is acceptable, deriva ons including infrared are unacceptable. ote: Entries must originates as Photographs (image-captures of object via light sensi vity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of submi ng an entry, the entrant cer fies the work as his own (aliases are not permi ed). The entrant permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publica on and/or display in media related to the exhibi on. Entries are limited to not more than igital images per sec on, category or class- P Monochrome, P Color, ature, Wildlife, Photojournalism and Photo Travel. igital should not be mixed to make one entry.. igital mage must bear the tle and sec on of the entrant and must be numbered to correspond with the entry form. The digital images files must be in JPEG format and file size maximum MB. Please submit images with 00dpi resolu ons and a maximum of 050 X 00. f the image is horizontal i.e. in landscape format, the width would be 00 pixels and the height would be less than this as per composi on.
