5 BADJAR Ogilvy Senior Network Support February 2007 to March 2008 B ADJAR was acquired by the STW group and merged with Singleton, Ogilvy and Mather to become BADJAR Ogilvy. This greatly increased the size of the network and the complexity and scope of the environment. As a part of a team of two with support from Sydney we physically relocated both businesses and setup two further sites Windows users and 40 + Mac users including a photographic studio. Windows Server IBM and HP servers IBM workstations Mac Xservers IBM FC SAN MS AD environment integrated into the global STW forest.cisco routers and switches Cisco Call manager VOIP routers and handsets Linux monitoring servers Wyse thin clients To maintain and manage all aspects of the IT environment from level 1 desktop support to including recommending and installing network services, and hardware and the VOIP phone system. We also provide network infrastructure and support to 3 other STW firms that were collocated on the premises Migrated both firms into a single environment with no significant down time to either entity. Migrated the BADJAR AD into the global STW forest Led the installation of Fibre network services between all three sites including negotiating SLA agreements with ISPs and project managing the setup of the two new sites. The Sydney office was originally intending to use Wireless between these sites but I was able to develop, present and have accepted a more robust and effective fibre solution at a very cost effective pricing. Project managed the relocation into the new sites and setup services including AD replication and integration. Maintained and developed backup and disaster recovery solutions.
