1 Back to School Night You should have a copy of your child s schedule. Please note the following: Welcome to Back to School Night! Your child may have more than 1 elective class listed on their schedule. (period 1 or 6) all electives. Study Halls will not meet. Change any Study Hall room number to Media Center and visit our Book Fair instead. Physical Education and Health will meet in the Upper Gym. The Music Program will meet in the Band room. Lunch will not take place this evening (nor will any other food service). You may want to cross out Lunch. Sep 10 7:34 PM Sep 17 3:25 PM Back to School Night Each period is ten minutes long, and you will have 4 minutes to move from class to class. Bells and announcements will be used tonight to help you move efficiently. If you feel lost, please ask for assistance from our Pro-Leaders. During homeroom, we do the following: Take attendance Welcome to CMS! Watch the morning announcements on CMS in the AM Say the Pledge of Allegiance Distribute or share any additional information Attendance Reminders Homeroom starts promptly at 7:59 everyday. If your child needs to be excused from school early, he or she needs a signed note from home. The student then goes to the Attendance Office where a pass is given to the student. Entering CMS A student must have a CMS morning pass to enter before 7:50. A pass from a specific teacher is required before entering the building. Extra Help hours vary based on the teacher, each teacher will go over their policies at their presentation. 1

2 Other Topics Birthday Decorating and Policies Only three students are permitted to help decorate lockers. Again, a pass from an administrator is required to enter the building. Forgotten items These items will be placed at on a table near the Main Office. It is the responsibility of the student to check for their items.
