2 Who are the students we serve? Thirteen different educational classifications Greatest Numbers: Other Health Impaired Learning Disabled Speech Language Impaired

3 How do we serve our students? More than 92% within Commack Schools Approximately 5% in other public or BOCES Approximately 2% in private/residential schools

4 District Programs District Programs offer a continuum of services to children with a wide range of abilities and needs Including students in the public school setting promotes the development of social skills and problem solving skills. It provides disabled students full use of district facilities, technology and all other resources made available to their non disabled peers.
