10 What Are Some Benefits of Weekend College? Full-time students graduate in two to three years with an AA, AS, or AAT degree. Express block classes that feature 3-week and 8-week courses meeting on the weekend. Courses are offered Friday evenings, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons. Some weekend, evening, and distance education courses are offered in the summer. Course content matches the College s weekday offerings.

11 What are the benefits? Learn from Home or anywhere! Offers flexibility to work around your schedule. Additional trainings are available to utilize Blackboard software. Must complete an additional orientation online.

12 In learning communities courses, professors team teach and connect the concepts of their disciplines under a common theme or question. You receive credit for each class as if you were taking traditional classes. 13 Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher Hands-on learning in small class setting (15:1) Classes are offered on all Collin Campuses Scholarship Opportunities, Early Registration and Additional benefits depending on the campus. Bonus Points Initiatives (Health Science programs, like Nursing, offer bonus points on applications for taking certain Honors classes) Honors Students experience smaller, interactive class settings with more emphasis on reading, writing and discussion. 20 Be Aware of Early Registration Payment Deadline If payments not received by July 29, you will be dropped from your FALL 2015 courses After deadline, 100% of payment must be accepted by end of the day or classes will be dropped Check your Tuition Charges If Texas resident, tuition charges should not be more than $100 per credit hour Resolve issues of Residency with the Admissions Office Dropping/Swapping Classes Courses dropped prior to the first day of classes will not receive any extra charges
