Lead and manage the areas of Academic Relations, Economic Access, International Admissions, Non-Resident and Resident Admissions, Transfer Admissions and Visits, Events and Customer Service including over 54 professional staff, 120 student workers and a 5.4million dollar budget. Responsible for meeting all strategic enrollment goals for all demographics of students. AU 2013 exceeded enrollment goals for all demographic categories Responsible for overseeing competitive admissions review process Design and implement new strategic initiatives for international recruitment, transfer recruitment, diversity initiatives and first generation programming Develop and expand campus partnerships and committees and workgroups to ensure campuswide dialogue, collaboration and support for all efforts. Construct and implement a yield plan and programming Review historical recruitment data and develop strategic targets, plans and goals for 2014 Manage recruitment staff, hiring, training, schedules, assignments and ensure a balance of responsibilities Work closely with Marketing to develop and create marketing communications and campaigns for various demographics, parents and throughout various times and segments of the recruitment process Oversee strategic purchasing of prospect names for Columbus campus and 5 regional campuses Manage data driven strategies to determine the most strategic recruitment efforts, target high schools, travel and programming Act as liaison with Office of Diversity and Inclusion to address diversity issues and implement their scholarship selection and awarding process Serve on institutional scholarship and financial aid strategy workgroup to align all awarding plans with recruitment and enrollment goals.

2 DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS 2/ /2011 Virginia Commonwealth University, Qatar Doha, Qatar Serve as authority on admissions and enrollment practices in order to evaluate, assess and implement an admissions office strategic plan and subsequent procedures for graduate and undergraduate programs. Oversee the admissions processing, evaluation and decisioning for all admissions applications both graduate and undergraduate Redesign and implement a scholarship strategy for early high school outreach and recruitment both in Qatar and throughout the Gulf Region Establish collaborative efforts with faculty chairs for admissions review, portfolio requirements and applicant ranking systems Develop and implement admissions practices, policies and procedures Evaluate current policies and practices and develop strategic recommendation plans for improvement Construct and implement a yield plan and programming, resulting in 85% yield of admitted students Collaborate across VCU campuses and units, academic and non-academic, to establish a strategic plan for Assess various admissions IT systems and develop recommendations for improvements and implementation plans for the transferring of home campus systems to Qatar Work closely with Marketing to plan, create and construct marketing support materials both print and electronic. Develop relationships with key high schools, and high school staff to create and implement early high school outreach efforts for students and parents Construct a joint enrollment program with the Academic Bridge Program to offer design outreach and joint admissions to Qatari students interested in VCUQ DIRECTOR STRATEGIC RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES 10/ /2011 Oversee and manage initiatives for transfer and international targets, relationships and undergraduate recruitment efforts, strategic plans and implementation of admissions policies, guidelines for resident, non-resident transfer and international prospects, applicants and admitted students and parents, Supervise 21 recruitment staff members. Review historical recruitment data and develop strategic targets, plans and goals for 2011 Manage recruitment staff, hiring, training, schedules, assignments and ensure a balance of responsibilities Work closely with Marketing and the Connect CRM system to develop and create marketing communications and campaigns for various demographics, parents and throughout various times and segments of the recruitment process Oversee purchasing of prospect student names from CollegeBoard, ACT, NRCCUA, Venturs Scholars, CBSS Manage data driven strategies to determine the most strategic placement of marketing and purchasing of names Collaborate with other UA units, departments and staff to enhance university-wide efforts Develop recruitment and yield evaluation techniques Collaborate closely with Pima Community College to develop implement and evaluate joint programming and joint efforts including oversight of the Joint Admissions program Oversee donor scholarship awarding process and participate in committee for scholarship appeals Manage budget creation and maintenance. Monitor and approve program expenditures to ensure that budget allocations are not overspent 2

3 DIRECTOR INTERNATIONAL RECRUITMENT & ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, UNDERGRADUATE RECRUITMENT 12/ /2010 Oversee and manage undergraduate recruitment staff, strategic plans and implementation of admissions policies, guidelines for resident, non-resident, scholar, transfer and international prospects, applicants and admitted students and parent; Supervise 21 recruitment staff members.. Contribute to the enrollment of the largest, most diverse freshmen class for fall 2010 including: o Increase international undergraduate applications by 38% for 2010 o Increase transfer applications by 13% for 2010 o Increase resident freshmen applications by 9% for 2010 o Increase non-resident freshmen applications by 5% for 2010 Maintain effective involvement program with/for Alumni, parents, and continuing students, providing training, communication, support, information and materials, in order to expand and enhance PAWS efforts Work closely with Marketing and the Connect coordinator to develop and create marketing communications and campaigns for various demographics, parents and throughout various segments of the recruitment process Oversees the purchasing of prospective student names from a variety of organizations, including, but not limited to College Board/PSAT, ACT/PLAN, NRCCUA, Ventures Scholars, College Board Selection Service Network with other admissions professionals nationally to stay abreast of trends and stays current with all forms of communication and marketing tools and strategies Develop, construct and disseminate counselor communications for all high school and transfer counselors Expand non-resident staff and university recruitment efforts by three regional offices Provide leadership to the Joint Admissions program in collaboration with Pima Community College Oversee donor scholarship award process and participate in scholarship appeals review Oversees team budget creation and maintenance. Monitors and approves program expenditures ensuring that budget allocations are not overspent. Initiate UA international cooperation efforts in order to expand recruitment opportunities Establish recruitment office imbedded in Pima Community College Act as key contact for students, parents, high school counselors, and community college advisors Collaborate with university offices to ensure seamless transitions for students throughout the enrollment pipeline DIRECTOR INTERNATIONAL RECRUITMENT & ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, TRANSFER ADMISSIONS Oversee and manage both, transfer and international recruitment efforts, strategic plans and implementation of admissions policies, guidelines, Homeland Security regulations, and AACRAO regulations managing over 9,000 applications, 20,000 student contacts and processing over 25,000 transcripts; Supervise 4 international and transfer admission staff members. Collaborative teach HED396/696 Service Learning 3 unit and 1 unit classes and oversee practical field time Maintain relationships with eight school districts and coordinate billing and service requests for teachers Compile and submit grant applications to industry foundations for state-wide program funding Develop and implement math skills summer program utilizing funding from the Lumina Foundation for Education Maintain and build strong industry relationships and partnerships to secure funding and support Facilitate training and execution of the adopt-a-school engineer partnership with Raytheon Missile System, Inc. 4
