ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE: Chair of School of Nursing, Kentucky State University, September 2004 Present Responsibilities include but not limited to the following administrative operations of the School of Nursing: planning and administering the school budget, interpreting and administering school policies consistent with university policies, review and act on student recommendations, administers student record system, reviews and initiates necessary updating of contractual agreements with cooperating agencies, conducts faculty meetings, teaches classes, serves on appropriate university and school committees.

2 Page Two Division Director, Local Health Department (LHDs) Operations, Department for Public Health (DPH), Frankfort, KY, January 2001 August 2004 Responsibilities include but not limited to the following day-to-day operations of the LHDs: management of the merit system for 3500 personnel, training and staff development, medical records and forms management, reporting of clinical and community-based services, operating the online local health network, public health nursing, policy interpretation and the Board of Health Appointment process; primary liaison between the DPH and LHDs; determine allocations of $8.6M to LHDs to support local health initiatives; and responsible for coordinating the training and education activities for the Bioterrorism preparedness grant. Assistant Vice President Academic Affairs, Kentucky State University, Frankfort, KY, July 1998 June 1999, September 1994 August Responsibilities included but not limited to the following: supervision of the delivery of university-wide academic support programs; reorganization and supervision of Enrollment Management personnel program (Records/Registration, Admissions, Advising, Testing, Communications Skills Center, Academic Computing Services, Upward Bound and University Orientation); management of program review process for revision of University policies and procedures affecting academic and support programs; supervision of the University Catalogue revisions; service as the University s representative to the Council on Postsecondary Education General Education Transfer Committee and as the S.R.E.B. As
