Its wide rage of moutig modules cater for may motor starter combiatios to be istalled o a busbar assembly. The system cosists of a variety of compoets: Busbar ad busbar supports for 0 mm spacig Icomig supply coectio modules Moutig modules: - busbar adaptor uits Accessories Busbar adaptor uits Two styles of adaptor uit: DeCo ad Stadard. DeCo adaptor uits DeCo is a uique cocept which offers a discoect feature that eables the user to remove motor starters without isolatig the complete system. Whe the motor starter is removed, the busbars remai safely covered. Uique Cocept Optioal microswitch discoects the cotactor whe the adaptor is beig discoected or is icorrectly fitted. The KTA 7 ad KTA -0 circuit breakers limit the peak short circuit currets well below this level, so that the busbar support spacig eed ot cosider the prospective short circuit curret whe usig ACS starters, but may be chose based just o mechaical cosideratios. The diagram for busbar support spacig gives recommedatios accordigly. Notes: 1 ) The admissible load of a complete system depeds o the system topography ad the applicatio parameters. It is ot oly limited by the admissible temperatures of the plastic parts, which are i cotact with the busbars, but by the admissible operatig temperatures of the compoets mouted o top of the modules. I moutig system applicatios the busbars act as a heatsik for the heat produced iside the starter compoets. The heat is flowig from the compoet termials (e.g. motor protectio circuit breaker) via the short wire liks to the busbars. For this reaso it is good practice to ru busbars, which are coected to compoet termials, at 5 C maximum. The recommeded ampacities for copper busbar as per the table are based o this fact ad take from amedmet 1 of IEC 0890, which is referred to by IEC for Partially Type Tested Assemblies.
