28 Optimised traffic flow thanks to HVCC

29 Optimised traffic flow thanks to HVCC Nautical Terminal Coordination: Coordinates the approaches of large vessels before they enter the estuary. In some cases, the supervision of ships begins in Gibraltar. Communication channels are pooled; ship clearance decisions affecting other areas are determined in good time. Conflict situations are identified and analysed in cooperation with the Elbe pilots to reduce the impact on port operations. The objectives: Optimum traffic control on the Elbe and a reduced burden on the Vessel Traffic Service Centre Monitoring of movements of large vessels on the northern European coast Coordination of approaching and departing traffic Current partner terminals are Hamburger Container Terminals and Hansaport.
