2 Who we are. What we do AEDIVE is the Spanish Business Association for the Boosting and Development of the Electric Vehicle Market It is a non-profit business association at national level, independent from the Government and with representatives from all points in the EV value chain

12 DISTRICAVE Project in Andalusia, driven by regional Department of Development and Housing consists of a R&D project to determine the most efficient ways for distributing goods in Andalusian cities by using nonpolluting vehicles such as electric vehicles and e-bikes CUDE Project driven by the Municipal Parking Company SMASSA for providing logistic services with electric vehicles within the pedestrian area of downtown Málaga

13 Promotes clean and energy efficient vehicles, electric bicycles and electric scooters for delivery of goods and passenger transport among private and public bodies such as delivery companies, public administration and citizens in European urban areas, as an alternative to conventionally fossil fuelled vehicles. 14 Operational research on route optimization has allowed last-mile parcel companies such as CHRONOEXPRES in Spain, to deploy a new route planning system adapted to a new logistic model using electric fleet (CITYMODEL project) resulting on +10% reduction of logistics cost.

15 LaMiLo (Last Mile Logistics) is an INTERREG IVB North West Europe (NWE) project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) LaMiLo aims to create a step change in freight deliveries by fully considering the last mile of a supply chain when planning a freight logistics journey, ensuring a more efficient and integrated logistics approach throughout North West Europe (NWE) and utilising more environmentally friendly transport methods such as electric and other low emission fuel powered vehicles. Through a series of practical pilot projects in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the UK, LaMiLo will look to stimulate more efficient and effective large scale last mile logistic solutions.

16 The project will test and review various ICT tools to understand how they can be used to streamline more sustainable last mile logistics. Firstly, the project will develop and test two IT based booking systems which can be used to consolidate deliveries to both retailers and end users. Secondly, the project will test existing tools that improve and enhance information flows to logistics operations, such as GIS flow and traffic investigation systems. The project will also quantify the impact of existing last mile logistics operations in the private sector, in terms of cost, carbon and congestion. It will also review the effect on noise pollution, business efficiencies and jobs. A range of existing tools and techniques to calculate these impacts will be reviewed and used where appropriate.
