2 FALL CO-REC SOFTBALL (Co-Ed) ADULT PROGRAMS ADULT CO-REC KICKBALL (Co-Ed) Kickball is not just for kids, come be active with your friends and have a blast in a game of kickball. September 11 October 16 (6 weeks) City Player: $20 Non-City: $25 HALLOWEEN KICKBALL TOURNAMENT Come take part in our first annual Halloween Kickball Tournament. Your team will be guaranteed 3 games of kickball and guaranteed to have a blast playing this game. We will be having an adult tournament which requires 5 men and 5 women, and a separate kids tournament which requires 10 participants. October 25 Saturday 9:00am Adult Tournament $50/team Kids Tournament $25/team Register By: October 21 *Costumes recommended but not mandatory August 18 Monday or Wednesday Sponsor: $100 City Player: $15 Non-City: $30 FALL MEN S MODIFIED PITCH SOFTBALL August 18 Tuesday or Thursday Sponsor: $145 City Player: $15 Non-City: $30 ADULT ULTIMATE FRISBEE Try an exciting new sport! Ultimate Frisbee is a non-contact, coed sport. Pass the Frisbee between your teammates to score a goal in your end zone. A little twist though, you can t run when you have the Frisbee. Fees: September 25 - October 23 Heritage Soccer Fields City Player: $20 Non-City: $25 ADULT SAND VOLLEYBALL Enjoy the fall weather and play some volleyball outside. 6 on 6 games. Women s and Coed Leagues available. 3 Yoga In The Park Come join us for yoga in the park. This hour long class will involve easy stretching to improve strength, flexibility and balance. The sequence of yoga poses will allow you to release stress and restore the mind and body. All you need to bring is a Beach Towel and some water and you will love being outside and getting your workout in. September 10 - October 15 Wednesday 4:00pm-5:00pm Heritage Soccer Complex $5/class Hatha Relaxation, Meditation, & Breathing Come enjoy a 30 minute Meditation and Breathing session. This class is great for new yoga students as well as for experienced students who wish to expand their understanding of various Meditation and Pranayama techniques. September 8-29 Monday Heritage Soccer Complex $5/class YOUTH PROGRAMS YOUTH SOCCER Start off with a clinic and then games will be played every week. Soccer will take place for 6 weeks. Young 5 s-1st: Tuesday, Sept 23 2nd-3rd grade: Monday, Sept 22 4th-6th grade: Wednesday, Sept 24 City Resident: $15 Non City: $20 Register By: September 19 HALLOWEEN HAUNTED FOREST Adventure out for a spook-tacular time in the haunted forest. Small group tours will be guided through the forest holding on to a rope. Early session will be the less scary version for our younger crowd and the later time will be the true haunted forest. Cider and donuts and other treats will be available at the end of the trail. Come enjoy this fall family outing. 4 HALLOWEEN KICKBALL TOURNEMENT Come play Kickball while your parents are playing on the other diamonds. This event is guaranteed to be fun for the whole family! *See page 1 for more information. October 25 $25/team PUNT, PASS AND KICK Come out and compete in the NFL Punt, Pass, and Kick. This is a national program that youth compete with others around the state of Michigan hoping to continue on to the finals and get to attend the state competition at Ford Field during halftime of a Lion s game, competing to go on to the national finals. September 21 Sunday 6-7 year olds - 1:00pm 8-9 year olds - 1:20pm year olds - 1:40pm year olds - 2:00pm FREE Register By: September 19 The New E.R.A-(Early Release Activities) The New E.R.A-(Early Release Wednesday Activities) Looking for something to do on Early Release Wednesday s? Come have fun at Heritage Park with your friends. Buses will drop children off at the Heritage Hall area and parents will pick children up. This program will provide a safe, fun atmosphere for everyone and allow children to pick an activity of their choice for the 8 week time period. An after school snack will be provided. Activities will include: After school Arts; and Outdoor Sports September 3-October 22 Wednesday 2:00pm-5:00pm Heritage Hall Area $50 After School Arts Come after school and have fun with art at Heritage Hall. Middle School ages from 2-5pm and elementary ages from 3-5pm. The following topics will be covered over the 8 week program: Mixed Media-Foil Name Art; Shading Basics; Positive & Negative Spaces-action/sport paintings; How to Draw Faces; Watercolor-Leaf Collage; The Art of Henna Outdoor sports Enjoy a variety of sports, to include kickball, flag football, whiffleball, sand volleyball, and more.
