13 TEENS IN TENNIS Vital Statistics Between 2001 and 2010, tennis in the US enjoyed a 102.5% raise in the number of 7 to 11 year olds trying the sport more than once (6, 2011) In the same period, there was a fall of 5.3% in the number of 12 to 17 year olds (6, 2011) 13
