Connect to DE-CIX NGN network Use a new dedicated physical port Use existing port if possible and establish a VLAN on existing port DE-CIX NGN has a separate VLAN, AS number / IP address inside the DE-CIX technical architecture (separate /23 network) Customer sets up BGP session Customer s IP configuration need to have link between customer and DE-CIX as well as routing scheme Customer tells DE-CIX the separate AS nbr for the DE-CIX NGN service DE-CIX advertises its own networks default, customers need to define on top of IP also the SIP media side Create on the application layer SIP trunk(s) to DE-CIX NGN network Trust SIP and RTP IPs e.g. in SBC DE-CIX Management GmbH #18
