6 06 Regular Golf PGA Coaching: Each player will undergo video analysis on a continuous basis with our leading PGA Professional team. John Dickson oversees coaching at the academy. John has been awarded both the provincial and National PGA Coaching Professional of the year award on numerous occasions. He has travelled extensively and worked with some of the world famous academies like the Leadbetter one in the States. John is regarded as one of South Africa s finest coaches and has a large number of tour players on his books. 7 Candice Monica Satow is one of the coaches at the academy. Candice is a qualified PGA Professional, after being awarded a scholarship to study through the PGA. Candice was also awarded a four year golf scholarship to Oral Roberts University, USA, and won numerous titles on the College circuit in the USA. Candice received South African colours and successfully represented South Africa at the World Junior Championships, Belguim,1998, as well as representing the Kwa-Zulu Natal Women s Golf Team in 1996, 1997, 1998 and Candice now has over 7 Years of experience in golf coaching at College level in the USA and in South Africa, and is based at the Durban Country club. Alf Hopf is also a (AAA) PGA Professional and senior tour player. He has an exemplary playing record which feeds into his elite coaching ability. His abundance of golf knowledge which has been accumulated over many years will assist the aspiring professional. Alf is the partner of the University Golf Academy and has lectured on the sport and coaching for many years. Alf has produced and nurtured a number of excellent golfer who have gone on to play provincial, nation and professional golf. 07

9 High performance training: Physical IQ utilises the skills and expertise of the sports medicine practitioners at Physical IQ. Each golfer will: Undergo biomechanical analysis, in conjunction with swing analysis, and receive a personalised conditioning program Attend weekly supervised conditioning sessions Work one on one with a mental toughness coach (on and off the course) Receive a personal meal plan with the Dietitian Sports vision training sessions i.e. depth/ distance perception, concentration etc. Receive support from the onsite sports medicine team of Physios, Biokineticists, massage therapist, GP etc. Physical IQ has brought together the best of all industries to provide the elite golfer with the most scientific and cutting edge program available in South Africa. 11
