SNOWMOBILE SAFARI TO WILDERNESS (15h00-17h00) Every day Come and experience the crisp, frosty winter day by driving through the snow covered forest by snowmobile! You receive driving instructions and safety rules - and then you are ready for adventure. This experience introduces you to the unforgettable Lappish nature as you snowmobile through snowy forests and over frozen lakes. On route enjoy a peaceful break and warm berry juice. Return back to the Safari Club House by snowmobiles. DRIVING DISTANCE: km DURATION: 2 hours PRICE: 98/person 2. SNOWMOBILE SAFARI TO A REINDEER FARM (10h00 13/14h00) Monday, Wednesday & Friday After the guide s snowmobile driving instructions, you turn onto the snowmobile track and follow it through the snow covered nature to a local reindeer farm. Reindeer husbandry is an important livelihood in Lapland. As the reindeer are semi-wild animals, they roam free in the woods and forests, and are collected together only twice-a-year for reindeer round-ups. At the farm the reindeer owner has a carefully selected group of reindeer which he has trained for sledge-pulling, and for reindeer races. The reindeer herders will demonstrate how to drive a reindeer sledge, and then it is your turn to take approximately a 1 km ride. Coffee or tea will be served at the farm. ARCTIC SPEED (12h00-15/16h00) Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday After the guide s snowmobile driving instructions, the safari heads to the forests and lakes to admire the snow covered Lappish scenery. Upon arrival to the husky camp, the first welcome will be the barking of the friendly dogs. Explore the life of huskies and experience a sporty 3km drive in a husky pulled sledge. Enjoy a warm drink while listening to stories about husky training and breeding, before returning to the Safari Club by snowmobiles. DRIVING DISTANCE: km DURATION: 3-4 hours PRICE: 137 /person 4. FISHING EXPERIENCE (11h00-15h00) Tuesday (11h00-15h00) Thursday This safari shows you the true Lappish nature. The safari route takes you along the frozen lakes and snowy forests. You can enjoy this safari by snowmobile or in a sledge pulled by snowmobile. During this day you can enjoy the most beautiful scenery around Levi. You also break the ice of a lake and try your luck in ice fishing. An enjoyable Lappish soup lunch with bread, and strong Lappish coffee or tea for dessert will be served in a cosy cottage. 3 5. SNOWMOBILE SAFARI TO THE SNOW VILLAGE (10h00-14/15h00) Friday After receiving all necessary clothing and driving instructions you will set off by snowmobiles across changing terrain. On the way you will drive across open lakes, bog lands and through the snowy Lappish forests. Lunch will be served at a wilderness restaurant and you will visit Lainio Snow Village with its beautiful ice and snow sculptures. (This excursion is suitable for children 15 years or over.) DURATION: 4-5 hours PRICE: 169 /person 6. HUSKY SAFARI After receiving all necessary clothing, you will depart by bus to the husky camp for a truly memorable dog sledding experience! This one and a half hour sporty husky safari takes you out into the Lappish wilderness with the eager dog teams. After the safari enjoy hot berry juice while listening to stories about the husky dogs. Return to the safari club by bus. SEARCH FOR THE NORTHERN LIGHTS BY SNOWMOBILE (18h00 21h00) Wednesday & Friday Come and experience an exotic Arctic evening by driving through snow covered forests and over frozen lakes by snowmobile. With a little luck, if the sky is clear, the moon, stars and even the Northern Lights may show you the way. SNOWSHOE EXCURSION TO THE NATURE (09h00-11h00) Thursday (12h00-14h00) Saturday Try a traditional Arctic form of transport! (This excursion is suitable for children 12 years or over.) Join us on a snowshoe excursion in the snowy nature. After receiving snowshoes and poles, we will head to the Levi nature. This discount entitles children to a seat in a sled pulled by a snowmobile driven by the guide. Child over 140 cm is allowed to sit on the snowmobile when paying the adult price. Please note that different terms and prices apply to husky safaris. SAFARI PRICES INCLUDE: All snowmobile safaris include thermal outfit, guide services in English, each snowmobile shared by two guests taking turns in driving, fuel, traffic insurance (maximum personal liability 505), maintenance and VAT. The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver s licence. Solo driving possibility (cost varies depending on the safari, between 1-4 h EUR 39/per person 4- h EUR 78/per person)

As a responsible safari organiser Lapland Safaris Ltd reserves the right to change the routing, pricing and the duration of the excursions without prior notice. Lapland Safaris Ltd reserves the right to interrupt a safari if a participant is seen as a potential danger to him/herself or to others or is in poor health. Pre-paid safaris will not be refunded. The driver of the snowmobile is held liable for damages caused to the vehicle. Self-risk amount is max 505,- person/snowmobile/accident case. Pregnant women should not use the snowmobile or the sledge pulled by the snowmobile as the vibrations and exhaust fumes may be harmful.
