5 Blacksmiths - Workshop Blacksmiths - Coach House Blacksmiths Workshop is a traditional room laden with character with its flagstone floor, whitewashed walls and a magnificent 19th century carriage which makes a stunning background for photography. Gretna Hall was the first official stop in Scotland for travelling stagecoaches and private carriages. Built in 1710, the historic Blacksmiths Workshop is steeped in the traditions of Gretna Green and houses Gretna Hall s marriage records dating back more than 300 years. Walk down the aisle in this beautifully renovated coach house to be married over the iconic Gretna Green anvil. Blacksmiths Coach House is the most recent edition to the Blacksmiths Courtyard and our largest ceremony suite. A perfect blend of traditional and contemporary, this spacious room retains its original wood beams and sash windows. 6 Blacksmiths - Cottage Reception Rooms Blacksmiths Cottage is an intimate and romantic setting for smaller wedding ceremonies. One of Gretna Green s most popular venues, couples marry over the iconic Blacksmith s anvil in front of the cottage s open coal fire in the cooler months. After the ceremony, the newlyweds exit into the same famous cobbled courtyard as the Blacksmiths Shop. 15 Guests

7 Ramsey Macintosh Johnstone Suite A lovely quiet room situated on the first floor of the original part of Gretna Hall Hotel boasting spectacular views of the Solway Firth. The atmosphere is enhanced with a log fire in the cooler months; the seating plan for this room is boardroom style with a large oval table. Let all thy joys be as the month of May, and all thy days be as a marriage day. The contemporary décor of Gretna Hall s stunning new suite is the perfect atmosphere for an intimate reception with your loved ones after a romantic ceremony over the anvil. The seating plan for this room is boardroom style with a central table, however is also ideal for an informal drinks reception. 8 Criffel Situated on the ground floor our Criffel Suite has private access to our woodlands and the option of a private bar. The room is ideal for differing layouts making it a perfect option for tailored packages. 35 Guests Annandale Suite Criffel & Annandale Suite (Continued) Join both suites together for the perfect day, offering room for both your Wedding breakfast and evening reception. The Annandale Suite can be combined with the Criffel Suite for parties of over 45 guests who can enjoy the woodlands access, private bar and dance floor. 9 Anvil Restaurant Our Restaurant, situated on the first floor offers our largest function suite. A spacious dining area with a dance floor for larger wedding parties. The layout of the restaurant make it idea for smaller numbers to use and enjoy after their ceremony, or for parties exceeding 75 guests the perfect place to party! Love makes us starry-eyed; it makes us swoon. It makes us want to write sonnets and dance until dawn. Memories are made of gorgeous food and wine Gretna Hall has been staging romantic weddings since 1710 and has been wining and dining wedding guests for almost as long, though we ve come a long way from the more rudimentary menus of the eighteenth century! The hotel has five beautifully appointed wedding suites within the original house providing the perfect place to end your special day. We have recently refurbished many of our rooms which offers a mixture of modern and contemporary rooms as well as more traditional ones which are ideal for all your family and guests.
