2 REYKJAVIK SPA ACCOMMODATION SUPERIOR ATRIUM ROOMS Superior Atrium rooms provide an entertaining view into Miðgarður, the reception at Grand Hotel Reykjavik. The rooms are in the newly renovated main building and located on floors one to five in the hotel. Guests can enjoy either a queen size bed or two twin beds to relax after a day in Reykjavik. SUPERIOR ROOMS Our Superior rooms are a comfortable 23 m 2 and 27,5 m 2 located in both the main building as well as in the tower, from the 1st to the 5th floor. The rooms are available with two twin beds or a queen size bed, furnished in a modern Scandinavian fashion, with flat screen television, desk, and a combination of shower/bathtub. FAMILY AND TRIPLE ROOMS These rooms provide spacious hotel accommodations of m 2 to 36 m 2 and are equipped with either three double beds or two double beds with a sleepersofa. As well as having ample space, the rooms offer great value and all amenities expected from a four star hotel. EXECUTIVE VIEW ROOMS Executive view rooms at Grand Hotel Reykjavik are a comfortable 26 m 2 27,5 m 2 and are furnished in a modern Scandinavian fashion. The rooms are situated on the 6th-th floor of the tower building and have magnificent views over either the colorful rooftops of Reykjavik or the magnificent Mount Esja. BUSINESS CLASS ROOMS Just off a long flight and need to relax? There is no better way than staying in our Business Class rooms. They are a comfortable 26 m 2 27,5 m 2, located on the 1th and 11th floor with amazing views of Reykjavik or the calmness of the mountains. For our business travelers upgraded amenities include bathrobes, slippers, breakfast in bed and access to our spa and gym. JUNIOR SUITES The Junior suites are luxurious and spacious with a king size bed and a seating area. The rooms are situated in the tower of the hotel. PRESIDENTIAL SUITE ÁSGARÐUR The elegant presidential suite Ásgarður has a living room of 76 m 2, with a dining table, comfortable sofa area with windows and balconies offering spectacular views from the 13th floor. The 38 m 2 bedroom has a king size bed and a luxurious bathroom. PRESIDENTIAL SUITE ÚTGARÐUR The presidential suite Útgarður has an 85 m 2 living room with a large meeting table for 14 people on one side, comfortable sofa and seating area on the other. The bedroom is 38 m 2 with a king size bed & bathroom with a jacuzzi and shower. The suites are perfect for a short and longer stays. WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE Grand Hotel Reykjavik is wheelchair friendly and the hotel has guest rooms that are handicapped accessible and offer the guests all the comfort and elegance. All common areas are designed for wheelchair and handicapped accessibility.

MIÐGARÐUR Miðgarður is the heart of the hotel and a great venue for welcome drinks or receptions. Miðgarður presents a theme of Nordic mythology and Hávamál, the sayings of Odin. With it s glass ceiling and modern furniture it represents the elements of Iceland, water, fire and ice. At larger functions the atrium can be used for presentations and welcome receptions. NORDIC MYTHOLOGY Names and artwork in the hotel have their roots in Nordic mythology which is a nice way to bring the past into the present. The 17m high glass sculpture that graces Miðgarður is a work of art by Leifur Breiðfjörð. The piece is named after Völuspá, the Eddeic poems, and tells the story of the creation of the world. Fragments of the belief are displayed throughout the hotel, starting with Miðgarður, known as Middle earth, Hávamál text and last but not least Huginn and Muninn our confrence romms on the 14th floor that are named after Odins ravens that sat on his shoulders and were his eyes and ears. 4 TEIGUR, LUNDUR & MÚLI GALLERÍ Teigur, Lundur and Múli are three meeting rooms located on the lower ground floor. All are fully equipped, with comfortable chairs, and have specially designed lighting and air-conditioning. Teigur, Lundur and Múli are ideal for board meetings or smaller conferences. The surrounding area has private seating for coffee breaks. Gallerí is a 17 m 2 meeting room with good air conditioning in the hotel basement. It has a state of the art sound system, wi-fi, and all other meeting facilities. The room seats people for lectures, 8 as a cinema, and at a meeting table. Gallerí is bright and spacious, and is ideal for all kinds of events, such as conferences, meetings, courses, and receptions. 5 HVAMMUR HÁTEIGUR A & B Hvammur is the second largest conference room in the hotel, located on the ground floor next to Grand Restaurant, our à la carte restaurant and Torfastofa lounge. Hvammur offers the possibility of using Torfastofa lounge as a break-out space for welcome drinks or receptions. The venue is an ideal place to Háteigur A and B located on the fourth floor and are perfect venues for smaller banquets, receptions, meetings, and wedding parties. Both halls offer access to a large balcony where guests can enjoy the stunning views and fresh air during break times. Bjarg provides an ideal event-organiser s office/control room. Conference room Gullteigur is the largest hall at Grand Hotel Reykjavik. This comfortable 345 m 2 venue seats 47 people and is fully furnished with state of the art equipment including three translator booths. Gullteigur has a private entrance and reception area with ample space for welcome drinks, coffee breaks or exhibits. The room can be divided into two seperate halls, Gullteigur A and B.
