Announcing 2016 Pekin Days Art Show CALL FOR ENTRY June 23-26, 2016 Pekin, North Dakota Hours: Thurs.- Sat. 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Artists Reception Wednesday, June 22-7:00 p.m. Carol Greywater - Judge Call For Entry ENTRY FORM DEADLINE JUNE, 2016 Important Dates: Entry Form Due June 4 Artwork Delivery No later Than June 15 Vending Booth Registration Due June 4 ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists 18 years and older. All Work Must Be For Sale. This is a judged exhibition. All work, wall-hung or 3 dimensional, must be safe, ready to display, framed and wired appropriately for hanging. Serrated hangers will not be accepted. Please notify us if you have a piece that needs to be displayed in an unusual fashion or if you have an unusually large piece to verify sufficient space is available. All work must be original, less than 3 years old and not previously exhibited in the Pekin Days Art Show. No more than three (3) entries may be submitted. NCAC reserves the right to reject any entry that does not meet eligibility requirements. Entry to this show implies agreement to these conditions and those explained within this brochure. Entry fee is non-refundable.

All sales will be made to the NCAC plus the state sales tax. The artist will receive a check for the amount of the stated purchase price less commission within two (2) weeks after the closing of the show plus applicable cash awards. *Nelson County Arts Council Membership Fees: $15 Annual Single $25 Annual Couple Please consider becoming a member to help support the development and presentation of art programming in our area. Paintings, Drawings, Pottery/Glassware should be self explanatory. Sculpture - any 3-Dimensional work regardless of medium. Photography - black/white and color only. All hand colored or digitally manipulated work must be placed in Diversified Division. Mixed Medium - the use of two or more media - if there is a predominant medium used consider placing it in that division/category. Traditional Art - any work based on an individual culture or created in a folkart style. e.g. beading, flute making, pysanka, rosemalling, etc. Diversified - work that does not fall under specific divisions or categories, and all digitally created or manipulated work. Some artwork may fit more than one division/category. The artist must place the work in his/her chosen division/category. Your noted division/category will not be changed by the NCAC or the judge with the exception of digitally created or manipulated photography.

5 Removal dates and times for artists and art buyers: Artwork may be collected for removal starting at 4:30PM Sunday, June 26 th No early removal allowed. Arrangements for pick-up after June 28 must be made by contacting NCAC. Shipping and Return All shipped works must arrive by June 15 in reusable packaging. A return label and return postage must be included with artwork. Postage must include insurance. Shipped artwork will be returned by the 2nd week of July. $25 AND UNDER CORNER FOR EXHIBITING ARTISTS NOTICE - THIS FORM MUST BE SENT WITH ENTRY FORM Artists may display additional items for sale under $25.
